29 Days Out
Update on my bikini comp. I've been put on a super strict nutrition plan now. Completely zero starchy carbs, minimal fat and loads of meat protein. How am i feeling?? Watch on :)
Today I'm touching on the 5 MUST HAVE supplements in my opinion if you are a person that is training hard, an athlete or a person getting ready for comp. Bare in mind everyone's body is different, so you have to discern for yourself if the supplements you take are helping you. Watch on :)

5 weeks to go till my 2nd Bikini Comp.
Period talk ladies! I wanna talk about thi s.. because my period just ended and i felt it'll be good to share.
1. Do I train while on my period?
2. How do I train during my period?
3. How to use "PERIOD POWER"?
4. What happens to your period when you are competing.
I do feel my progress is there compared to the last time, however I can't help but feel concern that I won't be ready in time. The last thing i want to hear again from my coach... is "You won't be ready". That gutted me the last time, but "TRUST THE PROCESS" I look forward to the next 34 DAYS!!!
Yeap counting down by days, begins today. Now excuse me I need to figure out my bikini! Thank for joining me on the 2nd journey, not sure what will happen, but it sure will be exciting.

As for this weeks vlog. I touched on 3 things.

3. Has taking progesteron meds affected me?
Working your back has a bunch of benefits other than showing you brought sexyback in halter or tube tops. It's also a foundation for shoulder strength and good posture. Don't mess with your back, strengthen it. Check out the exercises and try them out in your next routine. :)
Ever since learning how to track macros and understanding more on how my body reacts to certain food, i've come to the realisation that carbs aren't evil. They can become dangerous when you over eat them COMBINED with a lot of fatty content. Watch on to see my fav low carbs foods.
Dealing with PCOS sucks but it's manageable. For me now is to get my hormones back on track, though i have to admit I'm not sure how taking these progesterone meds will affect my prep. So far this week, nothing out of sorts is happening.

I am 7 weeks out.. like damnnn
How has training been for the past week. So so
For my training. We've now move on into Phase 8. Phase 8 which involves a lot of reps again, I'm meant to fatigue out the muscles and yeah this new program will not have me bored, cause it's a mix of explosive and strength. Note usually one should change up your workout program every 3-4 weeks. Your body adapts and it needs to be challenged.
Today I want to talk about why the right kind of support is so important.
There's a saying repeated by a number of motivational speakers that you are the average of the 5 people you spend the most time with. There's another video which spoke worlds to me, was by former pro wrestler Marc Mero, and he said show me your friends and i'll show you you're future. I want you to watch the video cause it's so important!

You are defined by your choices.
A few days ago I go rather emotional. I think it's normal for any comp prep that you will get emotional cause you are taking yourself through an intense process. Things didn't go as smooth as i'd hoped and small little things would irritate me. My latest results on my physique didn't please me, my weight had gone up a 1 kg since the last time, my fat went up by 0.1% and muscle dropped to 0.1%. Minor I know, but the numbers screwed my head.
I'm very thankful that I was supported by good friends at that time.It makes a world of difference when you have the right kind of support, encouragement from people who have the same mindset or goals or they can relate to your goals.
Your future self is made up of the 5 people you surround yourself with and the things that you do on a daily basis. Choose wisely :)
