#Throwback to shoot day for my favourite beverage growing up #Milo. I was so excited to have this opportunity especially with a brand that is so close to my heart. ♥️
I have such fond memories of my younger days queuing up with my squash friends from all over the country for a cup of cold cold Milo from the Milo Van during the Sportexcel Milo Junior Squash Circuits held at Duta Courts. Oh there’s nothing like the taste of ice cold Milo from the Milo Van and the sound of your squash shoes squeaking on the floors that grew stickier as the day went by - thanks to spilt milo as excited kids made their way back inside. 😂 As I grew up, Milo continued to be a staple beverage for me, especially when I needed to “tahan lapar”. It was a must have as I rushed to the racetrack for practice and races. These days, I have a hot mug of Milo to start my day at the office. Anywayyyy, I can finally post this up coz it’s out on the shelves. Hehe. Excited. 🤗

Popular beverage brand- Instea has recently rolled out food menu in their new cafe (expanded from the Instea outlet at Maccalister Road)- Bean & Cream. The food menu has a list of Western dishes, including Big Breakfast, Pasta, Toasts etc... prices are unexpectedly high though (we were shocked to find out that the Big Breakfast is priced at Rm 45.90). But price factor was not only the surprise, we were also shocked by the service. We waited an hour to realize that one of our orders was not recorded and the server did not bother to repeat or check with us after we have placed our order. We threw the white flag and could not be bothered to argue further. The only dish we had was Couscous Stuffed Sweet Potato- the combo was fine but the Couscous was a tad too salty on its own. For Rm 26.90, we thought it was way overpriced.
