Let me clarify a few things. I don't think my accent should be categorised as British. I had a wake-up call ages ago and I don't think I possess a British accent. It's obvious that I am fond of British English, but I am done trying to sound British. It's not who I am! I was born and bred in Thailand. My accent is a mixture of everything. It has been influenced by Britishness, Americanness, gayness and Thainess. It shows who I am, what I have been through. It is my journey full of mistakes and lessons! There was a time when I tried too hard to sound British and I ended up sounding so pretentious and contrived! I don't do that anymore. I can proudly say that I HAVE AN ACCENT. I call it LG's accent! It's my music and if you don't like it, it is not my problem anymore. 😊

If you ever wondered if I can speak Vietnamese.. I can't :') hahahah. My parents are from Hue, most people from the north & south can't understand our accent. I've visited Vietnam a few times but no one understands me so they just speak english to me even though I'm Vietnamese hahah. Hope you enjoy this vlog and see you in the next one!
