In the semi-final of ATP250 Chengdu Open doubles today, Rendy and partner Divij Sharan of India lost to Marcus Daniell of New Zealand and Marcelo Demoliner of Brazil 3-6, 3-6. With the loss, this concludes Rendy's run in Chengdu and will head to Tokyo tomorrow for ATP500 Tokyo Open.

ATP250成都公開賽-盧彥勳單打打了兩天不敵Marcos Baghdatis，八強止步

盧彥動本星期參加總獎金1百萬美元的成都公開賽，成都公開賽為ATP250等級。盧彥勳八強賽碰上了前澳網的亞軍Marcos Baghdatis，盧彥勳本來賽前對自己的狀況非常有信心，但在比賽中2:2Marcos Baghdatis的發球，在接一顆Marcos Baghdatis的發球後，可能因為角度的問題，有點傷到手肘，手肘感到疼痛，讓盧彥勳害怕是否像四五月時，又傷到手肘的軔帶，而揮拍開始有點保留，也不太敢用全力擊球，甚至一度請防護員進來治療，但此後盧彥勳已無法和Marcos Baghdatis相抗衡了，很快的以3:6，失了第一盤，第二盤來到2:5時，Marcos Baghdatis的發球15:15，天空忽然下起大雨，整個賽事延到今天進行。

盧彥勳昨天下場後，馬上給ATP防護員及 長庚運動醫療社群 張家維進行治療。今天早上ATP防護員也用了特別的包紮，幫盧彥勳包住手肘。但今天開賽，盧彥勳面對Marcos Baghdatis的發球，雖然力拼了六分，但仍無法擋下，最終以2:6輸了第二盤。

盧彥勳賽後表示，自己昨天一下來覺得非常沮喪和難過，因為覺得這一次自己調整的不錯，狀況和手感也不錯，只是在比賽中，又忽然受傷，導致無發揮，讓自己覺得得難過。今天在接受防護員的治療及包紮之後，上場接Marcos Baghdatis的發球，覺得還可以。等下五點後還有雙打的賽事，可以更瞭解一下手肘的狀況。

In the quarter-final of ATP250 Chengdu Open, Rendy faced 2006 Australian Open finalist and former world No.8 Marcos Baghdatis of Cyprus. Rendy has played Baghdatis twice in his career, with one win and one loss. Before the start of today's match, Rendy was feeling confident as he had a strong performance in the previous round and was hoping to carry on the momentum. However, at 2-2 in the first set with Baghdatis serving, there was a return of serve that was hit with a bad angle which caused elbow pain. From that point on, Rendy started playing conservative and wasn't hitting the ball with enough pace as he didn't want to worsen the elbow injury as this reminded him the elbow injury that haunted him back in April/May timeframe. Rendy even called for ATP trainer at one change-over to spray and tape-up the elbow. But, quite obvious Rendy was not in shape to compete against Baghdatis. After losing the first set 3-6 and was down 2-5 in the second set at 15-15, rain started which postponed the match to the next day. With a night's treatment and rest, Rendy still couldn't recover from behind and lost the second set 2-6. Rendy was feeling quite depressed afterwards as he is having a hard time staying healthy this year which injuries prevent him from competing and winning.

ATP250成都公開賽-盧彥勳雙打和印度的Divij Sharan合作，擊敗加拿大及英國的組合，晉級四強

盧彥動本星期參加總獎金1百萬美元的成都公開賽，成都公開賽為ATP250等級。盧彥勳今天在單打之後，緊接著有雙打的賽事，搭配印度的Divij Sharan，這是盧彥勳第三度和Divij Sharan搭配，兩人第一次搭配，還曾經打到美網的第三輪。今天面對大會第四種子英國的Dominic Inglot及加拿大的Daniel Nestor之組合。其中Daniel Nestor更是前世界雙打球第一的好手。
第一盤由對方先發球，我方在2:2時先破發成功，取得3:2的領先，在5:3時，再度破發，以6:3取得第一盤。。
第二盤，由盧彥勳先發球，第一局盧彥勳面臨了四個破發點，最後保住發球局，士氣大振，在3:2時，我方破了對手的發球局，這個發球局也確保了勝利，第二盤以6:3拿下，搶進了四強。

盧彥勳明天將有單打的賽事，排在中央球場，晚上8:30，面對塞普勒斯的Marcos Baghdatis。

After Rendy finished his second round singles this afternoon, he and partner Divij Sharan played their quarter-final doubles against #4 seed Dominic Inglot of Great Britain and Daniel Nestor of Canada. Nestor is the ex-No.1 doubles player.

Rendy and Sharan broke serves twice to win the first set 6-3, and broke serve once to win the second set 6-3. In the semi-final, they will play against Marcus Daniell of New Zealand and Marcelo Demoliner of Brazil, who just took out the No. 1 seed.
