渋谷駅（しぶやえき）
東京メトロ 銀座線
1885年（明治18年）3月1日に日本鉄道の駅(現在のJR)が開業（赤羽 - 品川間の開通と同時）。開業日の利用者はいなかった。
1938年（昭和13年）12月20日に東京高速鉄道線（現在の東京メトロ銀座線）が開業。
1941年（昭和16年）9月1日に陸上交通事業調整法により、東京高速鉄道の駅は帝都高速度交通営団（営団地下鉄）の駅となる。
1978年（昭和53年）8月1日に営団地下鉄半蔵門線の当駅 - 青山一丁目間が開業し、東急新玉川線と直通運転を開始。
2004年（平成16年）4月1日に帝都高速度交通営団（営団地下鉄）民営化に伴い、銀座線・半蔵門線の駅は東京地下鉄（東京メトロ）に継承される。
2007年（平成19年）3月18日に京王・東急・東京メトロでICカード「PASMO」の利用が可能となる。
2020年（令和2年）1月3日に東京メトロ銀座線の新駅舎が供用開始。
同年4月18日に東京メトロ銀座線のヒカリエ方面改札が供用開始。
開業以来東急百貨店東横店西館3階の位置にあったが、2020年（令和2年）1月3日に東側（表参道寄り）の明治通りの上に移設され、同日の始発より供用を開始した。
1面2線の島式ホームを有する高架駅で、アーチ構造の「M」形の屋根がホームを覆う。
改札口は明治通りを挟んで東側に明治通り方面改札とヒカリエ方面改札が、西側にスクランブルスクエア方面改札がある。
銀座線唯一の高架駅であり、他社管轄の渋谷駅と比較すると最も高い位置にある。
移設前は2面2線の相対式ホームであった。2番線（乗車専用ホーム）と1番線（降車専用ホーム）が完全に分離されており、1番線に降りると一旦改札を出る以外に移動手段はないので「間違えてここまで乗ってしまった方は窓口まで」という旨の貼り紙が掲示されていた。現在は1番線がそのまま新ホームに向かうコンコースに転用されている。
2018年度の1日平均乗降人員は224,896人で、東京メトロの全130駅の中では豊洲駅に次ぐ第8位。

The current Tokyo Metro Ginza Line opened on December 20, 1938.
On January 3, 2020, a new station building on the Tokyo Metro Ginza Line started operation.
It is the only elevated station on the Ginza line.
The average daily number of passengers in 2018 was 224,896, which is the 8th place among all 130 stations of Tokyo Metro after Toyosu Station.
