Here’s a work I did for my good friends Hank&Sara’s wedding in 2020. It was pretty enjoyable to paint in gouache after a long while using the touch panel.
They love blue, sea and aquatic animals, which created lots of good memories in their romance. Hank is a gourmet who enjoys cooking for Sara. Sara is my good friend who is as lovely as her favourite character Nemo. So we made this illustration of under the sea world to celebrate their new adventure in life. I’m so happy for you. Congrats!

We need to take plastic off the menu.
.
The impact of single-use plastic waste on our lives is more alarming than ever. 15 of the 20 most-polluted rivers are in Asia. We account for about half the plastic waste that flows from land into the ocean; that waste includes single-use household plastic items such as bottles, straws, cups, lids, and cutleries. Abandoned fishing nets account for another 10% of the waste in our oceans. Some 700 species of marine animals have either eaten plastic or become entangled in it. Scientists have found microplastics in over 100 aquatic species, with more than half of that ending up on our dinner plates.
These facts are troubling, but this is a problem we can all do something about. We have the power to choose, to respond, and to change. Choose to get involved in policy changes in your country. Respond to your community’s efforts in reducing plastic waste. Change your attitude towards the single-use plastic items in your daily life. The time is now for a united global response to the plastic crisis.
We leave you with the famous words from National Geographic Explorer @lillysedaghat - “People have power. The power to make decisions, the power to inspire people, the power to change the world.”

Drive the change. Take the pledge.

Aquatic Creatures Moving at Eased 🦐🐢🍤🦀🐠🦈
Have you ever been to an aquarium? Aren’t all the fish, shrimp, turtles and other creatures there all so lively and interesting to see? Though people many years ago did not have cameras or smart phones, they still were able to capture and record these animals that make water their home. Some depictions are truly lifelike, but others are really exaggerated and different. It’s very fascinating what artists painted!
