Central Taiwan to conduct air raid drill on May 30
(台灣中部地區將於5月30日實施防空演習。)
Central Taiwan, including the city of Taichung and Penghu, will conduct an air raid drill from 1:30 to 2 p.m. on May 30.
(中台灣，包括台中以及澎湖地區，將於5/30下午1：30 – 2：00實施防空演習。)
🔹Air raid drill (防空演習)
The drill, which has been titled Wan-An No.42, is one of the regular annual tests held in various parts of the country. Residents were advised to stay inside, close windows and doors, and turn lights off.
(此次演習被命名為萬安42號演習，是在台灣各地年度定期舉辦的軍事測試之一。建議民眾待在室內，並將門窗關閉以及電燈關掉。)

Violators could be subject to fines from NT$30,000 (US$969) to NT$150,000, the Liberty Times reported.

Users of 3G and 4G devices inside the affected area would be informed by text message about the event, according to the Taichung City Police.

Apart from Taichung, the drill will also be conducted in Penghu, Nantou, Changhua, Yunlin, Chiayi City and Chiayi County.
