🌟 Mibuna 壬生菜 $38, which is a Kyoto version of similar vegetable to 水菜
🌟 Shogoin Kabura Radish 聖護院カブラ$38. 聖護院カブラ or similar relative 聖護院大根, are always welcomed for their sweetness. There's quite a few micro varieties of similar vegetables
🌟 Daikon 大根 $28. Just to compare with above Kabura. I haven't talked much about the Dashi base here yet, but for the Kyoto style oden & veggies dishes, it's on the sweet, kombu biased, not too overwhelmingly fish base side. Very clean tasting & more perfect for vegetarian dishes to manifest their flavors!
🌟 Ebi Imo 海老芋 $38. A larger size, pre-fried & superb quality here. Better than many shops serving same in HK. Very impressed. Must order!! 😬

When this arrived I was a bit shocked, as both Kyoto 聖護院カブラ or similar relative 聖護院大根 are round shaped, & usually served diced with round edges, not as a tube to increase yield. It actually was served the opposite way to what I expected with the following dish below 🤔

Do you remember I uploaded Doraemon Gadget Hatake no Restaurant(Restaurant Farm) Radish Curry last year? It was very huge Shogoin daikon radish curry. It appeared Doramon: Nobita and the Birth of Japan 2016. Basic Japanese style curry uses onion but decocookie can't eat onion, so I used celery instead of onion. This time I cooked cheese hamburg steak too. It looks yummy, isn't it?
