The Vietnamese diaspora ranges as far as Morocco. In fact, there are many Vietnamese people who live in Morocco and I was able to meet two. Many Vietnamese people emigrated to Morocco during the French Imperial period and WW2. Many emigrated in more contemporary times for economic opportunities. Morocco is definitely one place that not too many people think of to resettle, but according to these two Vietnamese women, life is great.

The only way you can eat real North Korean food is to go to North Korea. Chances are, you probably won't be going any time soon. So the next best thing is to try some North Korean food cooked by North Korean chefs served and performed by North Korean waitresses. At 30 Le Quy Don District 3 at around 7 o clock there is a show where the waitresses perform songs that will transplant you to different times and different countries. The food was edible, but nothing to rave about. It makes me wonder what the real North Koreans are actually eating back there because some of the items seemed quite lavish. Each dish cost around 10 dollars or a little less. Afterwards we (http://www.youtube.com/yevatokim) walked down the street to Boom Dak at 16 Le Quy Don, a local chicken and cheese eatery. This was absolutely delicious at around 20-25 dollars a plate. Then for whatever reasons because we were still hungry we went to eat some oc or snails in Vinh Khanh St. District 4.

Vietnamese food can be unique and weird at times. In Da Nang, there is a restaurant that serves up raw little minnows soaking in lime, chili, and garlic. Once wrapped in rice paper and veggies and dipped into a peanut sauce, the fish are consumed. This is a popular establishment, but I didn't really enjoy it that much because it was super slimy and fishy smelling. Plus, it was too spicy for me. I did enjoy the shrimp sashimi a lot more though. If you love fish and want to try something a little bit unique then this meal is for you. As for me, it's not something I'll eat again or will ever crave.
The restaurant is a little bit far from the main city area at
