These photos mean a lot to me, because I almost never ever take photos with my family. 😂

Prepared my Thank You speech for my wedding, but unfortunately, I didn’t have the chance to deliver the message at all. 🥲 I don’t know when I’d be able to say the things I’ve always wanted to say, and no matter how many “Thank you, I love you” I can utter at the most random of times, the atmosphere and feelings I wanna bring across will still be different. Nonetheless, here goes:

First of all, daddy and mummy, I want to say sorry. As much as I hate cheesy speeches, and saying sorry, I just want to apologise for being such a recalcitrant and stubborn child. I wasn’t the easiest child to raise, in fact I’m probably the worst one among us all. (Teach me to walk straight, I sure walk zigzag for you see lol.) Even so, I was never deprived of a shelter above my head, having sufficient food on the table, my education, and freedom. I apologise for being such a sickly child, for always making you guys worry, and for always creating trouble for you guys, albeit unintentionally.

Through it all, thank you for not giving up on me, for all that you have sacrificed, and your unfailing love for me. I don’t think there’s anything I could do to repay all that you have done for me, but I hope that one day I will be able to redeem myself, and be a daughter you guys are proud of having.

I love you daddy and mummy. ❤️ I love my bros @adurian_yoong and @william_yoong too!!! 😘 (Too bad we didn’t take photos together, I forgot!!! 😭) Thank you to my family for giving me the honour of being a princess in the Yoong family, then now and always. 😆

III. Europe’s new refugee crisis 歐洲新難民危機

Tens of thousands of asylum seekers have been trying to get into Greece by land and sea since Turkey eased its border controls on 28 February. Turkey, which had agreed with the EU in 2016 to halt the flow of asylum seekers from Syria and other countries in return for aid, announced that it would no longer stop them trying to make their way to Greece, sparking fears over another European migration crisis.

IV. Second-warmest February on record 有紀錄以來第二高溫的二月

Earth just had its second-warmest February since climate records began in 1880, according to NASA and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). The northern hemisphere experienced an unseasonably warm winter with many parts of Europe recording exceptionally high temperatures for that time of year. Norway hit 19°C in January – more than 25°C above the monthly average. Europe and Asia recorded their warmest winters ever during December, January and February, according to NASA and NOAA. This comes after NASA and NOAA scientists declared 2019 the second-warmest year on record.
