Here comes an old song, written for a musical I did back in 2007. I drew a lot of inspiration from ancient Chinese literature, when I tried to translate a lot of things are lost, so I did this sum up for you, here we go:

This is one of my favourite duets of all time and the lyrics (and the subtle things behind the song..etc) are very beautiful & meaningful. If you think of anyone while watching this video, I hope you can send it to them to let them know the impact they’ve had on your life.

I have liked For Good since the first time I heard the song and have always wanted to record a cover of it, but never quite found someone I thought would be the right person to sing this song with me. When I started cosplaying as Magnus and later came across the Edom scene in Shadowhunters, where the characters were potentially separating from each other forever, I knew this was it. Plus, there are other similarities between Glinda & Elphaba in Wicked and Alec & Magnus from Shadowhunters (feel free to comment to let me know what you come up with).

Doing a cover of this song while cosplaying characters from one of my favourite shows, I knew I had to go the extra mile. The amount of time and effort spent along with the things I had to learn, get and do to pull it off was kind of insane, but worth it at the same time (lost track of how many all-nighters were involved.

Mac Ayres's Easy covered by Charles & me in Oct 2018 & you’re watching it in Nov 2019.

Long story short, this was a random afternoon when Charles & wanted to shoot some random scenes to insert to this cover of us, just like every other self-made video that Charles would always handle it easily. Our main purpose was for the shy me to practice in front of the camera.

I’m not sure what happened exactly but somehow, this was the point that i realised that i could just believe that everything is so, so easy and start making a change to my journey!

So i did! I planned to have a .. pause on everything else to spend my 2019 for my singing desire - something I thought I successfully resisted!

Here we are, the 11th month of the year. I’m excited to share what we have cooked up soon (me & my people at JMG Collective on the music ; many other supportive talented friends on the visual works). But first, it’s important to say thanks to this afternoon, this video!! I'd love to share it with you all x

Thanks Charles & your musical soul for being a huge part of many purposes that i found along the way! Thank you for (incredibly/patiently/magically) helping me to connect with my inner voice naturally and beautifully. And, and...Alright i’ll stop here! ;)
