Yayyyy!!! It’s World Ocean Day today :)))) We celebrate every 8 June as a reminder of how integral our seas are to life on Earth. Today is an opportunity to raise global awareness of the benefits humans get from the ocean and our individual and collective duty to use its resources sustainably.
La Mer Blue Heart commits to helping protect marine habitats across the globe, in hopes to ensure future flourishing seas for generations to come. Through Oceans Fund supporting ocean conservation efforts around the world to La Mer’s main ingredient -Sea kelp, is sustainably hand harvested!!

Amid the coronavirus pandemic, when will we be able to travel again? The short answer is nobody knows for sure. No beach vacation? No worries
We can also support this moment of ocean peace and health from inside our homes. We can make small actions and sustainable decisions that can change the destiny of our ocean. This period of time when we are indoors can be the seed of change to protect the great big blue universe that we all love and that we all need to survive

-Recycling is the right thing to do

-Consider a more plant based diet

-Make sustainable decisions when you choose seafood
-Communicate your love for the ocean!
-Volunteer-define it however you want, the only part that matters is putting in the time to show your support, even raising awareness through art created from debris, it all plays into a larger role of protecting our ocean!
-If Netflix is one of your favorite pastimes, add underwater documentaries to educate yourself from home

Mission Blue: This environmental film created by Sylvia Earle’s non-profit organization talks about the importance of having a healthy ocean and caring for our reefs

If you love something, you have to protect it.

I am a lover of the sea 🌊
It saddens me to see the ocean being polluted by rubbish and coral reefs facing a multitude of threats.

Being part of the Coral Conservation Project organised by Lions International and @udivemalaysia in collaboration with @reefcheckmalaysia has opened up my eyes to what I can proactively do to save the earth. It is through being mindful of my actions and making efforts to educate others on the importance of preserving the stunning beauty of the ocean and its coral reefs that the future generation will get to enjoy all that we have been able to so far.

Coral reefs are a productive ecosystem and they are a vital breeding ground for thousands of species of fish. They are very effective for absorbing elements coming from the ocean as they reduce the damage caused by storms and even the energy of tsunamis.

If they actively get destroyed, we lose a critical habitat that will tip the balance of nature. They provide jobs and income to local economies from recreation, fishing and tourism.

Therefore, it is so important to unite to protect the reefs ✊🏼

I had so much fun learning about coral planting and doing my part collecting rubbish underwater. The entire team worked really hard to make this project a success; from transporting the heavy steel structure that was used as the base for coral breeding, to collecting healthy reefs for the plantation and also cleaning the ocean. I’m so glad to be part of this meaningful project and it is a great start for me to advocate for this good cause! 😊

I’m here today to talk about our relationship with China and several new measures to protect American security and prosperity.

I'm so happy to finally be able to share with you guys a wonderful news that we've been keeping for over two weeks: the #EndCoV campaign international version is here! Started with an English version of the hand-washing song, I'm honored to announce that I'm an official goodwill ambassador for this whole campaign. I hope you will continue to follow and support our whole crew!

Ghen Co Vy - Official English version | Coronavirus Song | Together we #EndCoV"
The #EndCoV project, which includes “Ghen Co Vy” song in Vietnamese, the handwashing
dance challenge #ghencovychallenge #vudieurua tay, and now includes the English version
of the song, is a creative health communication project by the National Institute of
Occupational and Environmental Health (NIOEH) - Vietnam Ministry of Health, in
collaboration with musician Khac Hung, singer Min and Erik, dancer Quang Dang and
Goodwill Ambassador Chau Bui. We are thrilled to have the support going forward from the
United Nation Development Program (UNDP).
With the spirit of “prevention is better than cure”, the project aims to join hands with the
community in building personal preventative habits and to encourage our frontline fighters -
doctors, epidemiologists, healthcare workers and millions of frontline workers who are
exposing themselves daily to the coronavirus. In this long war, each person being aware of
the need to protect oneself, one’s family and community is very important.
What we are doing is a drop in the ocean but we believe if united, all of us can do a lot more
for the community. Above all, we hope that all of us will together practice personal and
community preventative habits, spread positive energy and kindness, for a better world.

Dự án #EndCoV bao gồm bài hát “Ghen Cô Vy” bản tiếng Việt, vũ điệu rửa tay
#vudieuruatay và nay cả bài hát bản tiếng Anh là một dự án sáng tạo của Viện sức khỏe
nghề nghiệp và môi trường (NIOEH) thuộc Bộ Y Tế, hợp tác với nhạc sĩ Khắc Hưng, ca
sĩ Erik và ca sĩ Min, vũ công Quang Đăng và Đại sứ thiện chí Influencer Châu Bùi. Dự án
cũng rất hân hạnh khi có sự đồng hành của Chương trình phát triển Liên Hợp Quốc UNDP.
Với tinh thần “phòng còn hơn chống" trong cuộc chiến dài này, việc mỗi người dân tự có
ý thức bảo vệ bản thân, gia đình và cộng đồng vẫn là điều quan trọng cốt lõi. Dự án ra đời với
mong ước được tiếp thêm niềm tin cho cộng đồng; đồng hành cùng cộng đồng xây dựng thói
quen phòng bện; cũng như truyền thêm lửa, bớt chút căng thẳng cho những chiến sĩ tuyến
đầu của cuộc chiến này - đội ngũ các chuyên gia, các y bác sĩ, các nhân viên y tế và hàng triệu
người lao động, những người ở tiền tuyến vẫn tiếp xúc và đấu tranh hàng ngày với bệnh dịch.
Những điều chúng tôi đang làm chỉ là rất nhỏ bé nhưng chúng tôi tin nếu đoàn kết lại, tất cả
chúng ta sẽ làm được rất nhiều việc có ích hơn nữa cho cộng đồng. Hơn tất cả, chúng tôi
thực lòng mong toàn cộng đồng sẽ cùng nhau phòng bệnh, thực hiện các thói quen tốt
cho sức khoẻ, lan toả những điều tử tế vì một Thế giới yên bình.
