Also known as the “Samurai Guitarist”, @miyavi_ishihara gained international recognition for his unique guitar technique and has gone on world tours in 30 countries across five continents. His acting career includes playing complex villains in the films Unbroken, Bleach, and Stray, and most recently, landing his first non-villainous role in the 2019 film Maleficent: Mistress of Evil. In 2015, Miyavi visited a refugee camp in Lebanon and performed his song “The Others” to the people he met there, later releasing the music video featuring the faces of refugees from around the globe. Since that initial visit, he has traveled to more camps in Thailand and Bangladesh, where he bonded with refugees through his music and heard their stories of desperation and hope. Moved by the refugees’ resilience, Miyavi continually uses his voice, talent, and platform to educate the world about their cause. Following the release of his new solo album “NO SLEEP TILL TOKYO”, Miyavi spoke with The Laterals about his evolving artistry and the joy and message he hopes to spread globally through his music and UNHCR ambassador work.

ジャンルや言葉、国境を超えて世界中の音楽を通じてミュージシャンやお客さんを点から線に変えていく多国籍ライブイベント「CROSS POINT」を開催します！！
今回は台湾で結成された「好樂團 GoodBand」と、札幌を中心に活動をおこなっているシンガーソングライター「なかにしりく」の2組を交えたアコースティックライブです。
「好樂團 GoodBand」はリードシンガーのジョアン・ウェンとギタリストのクワン・チンの二人で結成され、2016年8月にリリースされた「我把我的青春給你 （Youth to You ）」のリード曲「我把我的青春給你 」のYouTubeの再生回数は280万回以上の再生回数を記録するほどの人気アーティストです。
「なかにしりく」は、ギター1本でどこへでも行くボヘミアン型シンガーソングライター。
ほろ苦く甘いビタースウィートな楽曲の数々を、耳馴染みの良いハスキーな声と繊細なファルセットを織り交ぜて歌い上げます。まるで映画のように目の前の風景を一変させてしまうその音楽世界、ピアノでの弾き語りやコラボ演奏といったライブパフォーマンスにも定評があり、RISING SUN ROCK FESTIVAL、oto to tabiなどのフェスに出演。近年は楽曲提供、映画出演など多方面でも活躍中のアーティストです。
そんな素晴らしい2組を「CROSS POINT」ならではのアコースティックセットで是非ご堪能ください。

No Maps is going to hold an international music event “CROSS POINT vol.2” on Feb 20th in Sapporo, Japan. “CROSS POINT” is a series of events that gives music lovers an opportunity to meet good music regardless language, nationality and genre whatever.
This time, 好樂團 GoodBand from Taiwan and Japanese singer songwriter Riku Nakanishi from Sapporo are playing acoustic shows.
好樂團 GoodBand: Formed by 許瓊文 (lead vocal) and 張子慶 (Guitar). Their lead track "我把我的青春給你 （Youth to You ）” from the same-titled album out in 2016 counted more than 2.8M plays on YouTube.
Riku Nakanishi is a freewheeling SSW and plays anywhere nothing but with his guitar. He sings bittersweet tunes with his husky voice and a delicate falsetto. His cinematic live performace earns a good reputation; and he played for RISING SUN ROCK FESTIVAL, oto to tabi and other famous festivals. In recent years, Riku develops his career to multiple fields as a songwriter and movie actor as well.
