[特別篇01]
Still embrace：偶像出題的填詞挑戰，我怎麼可以錯過！
講了很多別人的作品，不知道大家會不會已經聽膩了呢？好像該分享一些自己寫的作品了──
正當我這麼想時，正好就看到吳海文這個有趣的小小社會實驗。本來覺得英文歌詞我並不拿手，沒有打算挑戰。但是看完影片後，我覺得實在太有趣了，忍不住想了一個晚上，於是也填了一個自己的版本。
這篇創作分享影片真的很有趣，大家也點開來看看吧！

§
不免俗地，還是按照我的課綱架構來賞析一下自己填的詞。
一、押韻
因為作曲者有提示押韻的方向，所以韻腳的挑選就明確很多，朝著常用的套路，還是可以發想出許多漂亮的句子。最後，還剩一些韻腳blaze、face、pace沒有用到。
不過我發現，英文的押韻寬鬆化還是跟中文不太一樣，對於不同的結尾子音-aze和-ake有時候不影響聽覺體驗，但長母音的/e/卻明顯比/æ/或/ε/來得悠揚許多。所以，我沒有挑選head、bed、thread這些短母音的韻腳，主歌則是挑選hand、dance、ends這些鼻韻的字來延長尾音，配合樂句的節奏。
二、結構
兩段主歌本來打算使用倒敘法，先講即將分開的現在，然後回頭看剛認識的時候，帶出不是每段感情都有結果的主題，再用回頭看起來，任何愛情都還是很值得開始來做結尾。
不過，Is this where the story ends的畫面感比較模糊而且偏直接突兀，不太適合用在開頭，所以還是把它拉到主歌二做自問自答來讓主角糾結。
兩段副歌我還是使用排比手法，第二句用空間的景色covered in haze和時間的倉促within a haste來呼應，第四句用感情開始前的心情「即使不順利我也不會逃」來對應結束後的心情「再選一次我還是會擁抱」。
副歌二第三句我稍微改了一下，把if after all改成if that's not all，唱到這類的小轉折時容易打動聽眾的淚腺。
三、主題
我非常同意吳海文在影片裡面講的「punch line」，也就是一首歌最重要的一句詞必須要是情感強烈的，而不能純說理，會讓人難以共感。同樣的，也不能每一句詞都是punch line，每一句話都正中不同的紅心會讓一首歌語詞太銳利，主題也會無法聚焦。
Punch line通常也會跟歌名有關，歌名最常出現在一個段落的第一句和第四句，其次是第三句。在這次填的詞裡，Love is a maze、still embrace、best mistake都是比較強烈的，可以當作歌名，最後不選Love is a maze是因為以前好像已經有同名的歌曲了，不選Best mistake則它似乎無法代表整首歌的主題。
而選擇了Still embrace是因為embrace也代表探戈舞的舞姿，和主歌的dance、hold my hands都跟跳舞有關，可以互相呼應。不過整體而言，我還是覺得punch line稍弱、主題(在舞會認識)也稍嫌老套了點。
四、修辭
原本寫All the fairytales are meant for those insane，韻腳insane音律勉強可以合，但語義不夠明確。特別去查到haze這個韻腳的意思(陰霾)，可以表達意境就改為現案。
原本寫When we said we'd still be friends，檢查的時候覺得太多歌使用過，有些了無新意，改一個字lied比較畫龍點睛，效果很好。

因為有好一段時間是自己作詞作曲，很久沒有填詞了。這次有機會填出自己也很喜歡的英文作品，感覺能力也往前跨出了一步，真的很感謝有吳海文的這個企劃。
