【阿龍週記｜到澳洲尋找Aesop-④｜店鋪】The Rocks
似乎戴口罩的不只是擔心疫情的我們，南半球的澳洲因為森林大火的關係導致原本清新的城市也籠罩在空汙之中，也希望我們都能早日摘下口罩。
也許因為現在哪都不方便去，也就特別想念雪梨旅行的種種，所以今天繼續分享中斷了一陣子的旅行記憶。
【本文開始】
到雪梨造訪的首站是「雪梨港灣大橋」（Sydney Harbour Bridge）下的岩石區（The Rocks），也是著名的歷史街區，飯店與酒吧林立、人潮亦是熙來攘往。此行造訪岩石區2015年底開張的〈Aesop The Rocks〉，這裡曾是澳洲首位政府建築師Francis Greenway的居所、肉舖、服裝店與雜貨店等，現今轉身為保養用品的專門店。
這裏離知名景點Rocks Market不遠，意外的是，隔條街的對面很突然就是〈澳洲當代藝術博物館〉（Museum of Contemporary Art）入口，穿過博物館，竟然就是能眺望海面上〈雪梨歌劇院〉的海濱長廊。
位處灣景歷史商業區塊，店儘管乘載了時代的空間氛圍，卻仍有著自己的節奏與風格，尤其是建築已老有148年的歷史，在文物保護規定下是不能在牆壁、地面及天花板安裝任何裝置，也挑戰設計此空間的墨爾本事務所MARCH. STUDIO。
它以白牆為基底，巧妙利用亮橙色尼龍繩索、木棍與鋁製等接合配件，應用水平與垂直的牆面支撐力，支持照明與展示櫃架，看著橘線交織的趣味，其兼具結構功能與視覺展示，算是一大特色。
到店時，店內聚滿隨活動來此的賓客，特別是在14.5坪的長形空間內，用環繞地面與層架擺滿插著黃色水仙的棕瓶表示歡迎，空間中最吸引我目光的是近似平面、俐落的鋁製水槽，還有，上頭擺放熟悉的柳宗理不鏽鋼水壺。
架高的深色木地板，解決了水槽等管線的問題，也使店內沒有多餘的視覺干擾。而The Rock店除了小而美外，我觀察最好的賞店位置，應是從店外透過深綠色木櫥窗框作為前景，欣賞店內靜置卻流動的商店風景，尤其是黃銅把手與綠色老門片更是絕配，感覺塗過多層油漆有著時光的厚度。
我看到店前有人抬頭仰天談論，便好奇前去查看，原來有架飛行器在藍天上畫出「＿＿＿」的字樣，午後五點的天空好透徹、好藍，也好美。
