感謝很多朋友對麥克這「捐款代花」的建議舉腳支持，不過由於倉促決定，在捐贈機構及方法上麥克一直感覺不妥。第一是捐款方法：要開一張支票，再郵寄至體育學院，換轉是自己，儘管樂意捐，但實不太會花這麼多工夫去捐。另外機構方面，捐去體育學院是麥克第一個找到的辦法，然而想深一層，這麼一點小錢掉進這個大彩池中，與其讓每名分運動員分到那連坐電車都不夠的資助，倒不如拿這些有限的款項去幫助一、兩個有潛質但急需經濟援助的青年運動員吧。
之前覺得捐款拿在自己手甚感不妥，結果好朋友一句說話令麥克豁然開朗：「你拿的又不是什麼的大錢，會給的都是朋友，對你有信任，只要交待好資助去向，問題不大。」
麥克運動表現提升中心開幕當日會有一個投款箱，朋友們學員們可以把買花的費用投到投款箱內。收到款項會用來資助急需經濟援助的青年運動員。
《感謝篇》
部分朋友表示有興趣送贈花籃予麥克運動表現提升中心新店開幕。麥克對此表示衷心感謝。然而，考慮到慶祝過後卻製造了一大堆垃圾，各位朋友可以選擇將購買花籃的資源捐贈予運動員基金以代替花牌。
將捐款以支票形式（抬頭為「香港體育學院有限公司」），連同寫上捐款受惠者的便條（例如：體院精英三項鐵人項目）
