We did a simple DIY project over the weekend with the kids as part of getting our home ready for Raya.

Naufal’s room had this feature wall that was painted grey. I wasn’t sure what kind of decoration I wanted to do for the wall initially during the house renovation and design phase months ago, so we decided to leave it plain for the time being.

Then recently, I saw this really simple and cute mountain wall nursery on Pinterest and decided that Naufal’s room needs mountains too! 😆

This was actually my first time painting a wall on my own, believe it or not. Pretty easy and so satisfying. Even my kids could do it. We used Kansai Paint PAR Silk and I like how smooth the paint went on with a luxurious silk finish. It’s low VOC and odour, and the best part is it’s easy to wipe clean!

Nothing sets off a good #baleada like some tasty #avocado, but up until 2016, 8 out of 10 avocados in #Honduras were imports.

This is changing however, with help from TaiwanICDF財團法人國際合作發展基金會. President Juan Orlando Hernández of Honduras recently posted a video to celebrate the inauguration of an avocado nursery in the #Comayagua experimental station, one of three nurseries planned as part of the Honduras Expanding Avocado Seedling Production Project being carried out in cooperation with #Taiwan's technical mission to the country. The project is aimed at reducing the country’s reliance on imported avocados and boosting the domestic industry!

Sin embargo, esto está cambiando, gracias a la ayuda del TaiwanICDF. El presidente de Honduras, Juan Orlando Hernández, publicó recientemente un video para celebrar la inauguración de un vivero de aguacates en la estación experimental de Comayagua, uno de los tres viveros planificados como parte del Proyecto para la Ampliación de la Producción de Plántulas de Aguacate en Honduras, llevado a cabo en cooperación con nuestra misión técnica en dicha nación. Este proyecto tiene como objetivo reducir la dependencia del país de aguacates importados e impulsar la industria local.

Tioman Island Clean-Up Day 2016 #TICD2016 with Berjaya Groups. This is what we did for the 3D2N TICD activities. Hope you got the idea of the project team who installed the coral nursery table and transplant corals on it.

It was not easy at all especially when one need to do the hammering underwater and difficulty in tying the corals under moving currents. Anyhow, it was a great coral conservation programme. Do LIKE & SHARE!!
