各位老師及同學好,

因應疫情升溫，有關課程、學位考試、轉系申請等事宜，說明如下：

一、課程：
（一）自5月17日起至6月11日全校課程皆採遠距教學。
※若因課程性質確實無法採遠距教學方式（例如：實驗課、實作課、體育課、服務學習課程），採事後補課，原則上於6月30日前完成（視疫情狀況調整）。

（二）課程考試：5月17日至5月28日兩週暫停實體考試（減少學生群聚，兩週後方式視疫情評估後宣佈）。

（三）實施遠距教學，仍需掌握學生到課狀況、學習情形，並檢核教學成效。（教育部5月15日通報）

二、研究生學位論文口試：自5月17日起至6月11日止，以採線上（視訊）方式舉行為原則（無需事先申請），若併以實體會議進行口試，會場社交距離須至少 1.5公尺，並全程佩戴口罩。

三、轉系申請：請將徵得原就讀學系／院學士班主任、導師（研究生為原就讀系／所／學位學程指導教授及主管）同意之email併同申請表寄給註冊組承辦同仁辦理，相關細節將於5月18日公告於註冊組網頁。

Dear faculties and students,

In response to the elevation of COVID-19 threat level, the followings are the matters regarding the courses, examinations, transfer applications, and others.

1. Courses: All courses in the school adopt the remote teaching method from May 17th to June 11th. If it is impossible to use the remote teaching method due to the nature of the course (for example, laboratory courses, practical courses, physical education courses, service-learning courses), make-up courses must be offered after June 11th. In principle, all make-up courses must be completed before June 30th (subjected to change depending on the pandemic situation). Note that during the period of remote teaching, teachers must pay attention to student’s learning outcomes and check teaching effectiveness (according to the notification from the Ministry of Education on May 15th).

2. Course exams: In-person classroom exams will be suspended for two weeks from May 17th to May 28th in order to minimize the student’s gathering indoor (whether this temporary suspension is continued after May 28th will be announced depending on the pandemic situation).

3. The oral exam of MS and Ph.D. thesis defense: It is recommended that all thesis defenses are held online from May 17th to June 11th. No prior permission application is required. If the thesis defense must be conducted in-person in a room, the social distancing rule of 1.5 meters must be applied, and masks must be worn at all times.

4. Application for transfer: No need to obtain the signatures from the academic mentor and the department head during the period from May 17th to June 11th. Email all relevant documents (including the email records demonstrating the approvals from the academic mentor and the department head) to the Office of Registration for processing. The details will be announced on the website of the Office of Registration by May 18th.

【#清明】今年清明節遇上復活節

⭐勤力健脾祛濕抗春困
#節氣煮煮Cin

清明養生重點：「健脾祛濕，疏肝解鬱」
淮山（又名山藥）：補腎精、健脾胃、補肺氣
洋蔥：祛風發汗、行氣化痰

涼拌淮山紫洋蔥
材料：鮮淮山 1 段、紫洋蔥 1/4 個、紫菜絲適量、木魚花適量
調味醬汁：生抽 1 茶匙、醋 1 湯匙、黃糖 1/2 茶匙、玫瑰花瓣少許

做法：
1. 鮮淮山去皮後切粗條；紫洋蔥切絲；調味醬汁拌勻備用。
2. 燒滾一鍋水，加入鮮淮山灼 15 秒後撈起瀝乾，浸入冰水中一會後撈起瀝乾。紫洋蔥亦可浸在冰水中一會減少辛辣感。
3. 鮮淮山上碟，加上紫洋蔥絲，淋上調味醬汁，灑上紫菜絲及木魚花即成。
注意：處理新鮮山藥宜戴手套，因為山藥黏液會刺激皮膚引致痕癢。

Healthy living during Qing Ming Solar Term: Strengthen the spleen, dispel dampness, soothe the liver, and relieve stress

Chinese yam: nourish kidney essence, strengthen the spleen and stomach, and nourish qi in the lungs
Onion: dispel wind, induce sweating, promote the circulation of qi, and get rid of phlegm

Chinese yam purple onion salad
Ingredients: 1 section fresh Chinese yam, 1/4 purple onion, some seaweed shreds and bonito flakes
Sauce: 1 teaspoon soy sauce, 1 tablespoon vinegar, 1/2 teaspoon brown sugar, some rose petals

Method:
1. Cut the peeled fresh Chinese yam into thick slices; shred the purple onion; mix the sauce for later use.
2. Boil a potful of water; add fresh Chinese yam into the pot for 15 seconds, take it out, and drain the excess water. Dip the purple onion in iced water to reduce the pungent sensation, if necessary.
3. Place the fresh Chinese yam on a plate, add purple onion shreds on top, drizzle it with the sauce, and top it with seaweed shreds and bonito flakes.

Note: It is best to put on a pair of gloves when processing the fresh Chinese Yam as its sticky sap could irritate the skin.

今回は熟成肉のすき焼きを堪能！鹿児島県鹿児島市の『熟成焼肉Gyudo!本店』にお邪魔してランチを頂いてきました！こちらは、鹿児島のブランド牛「さつま福永牛」を提供しているお店です。ストレスなく、ゆったりした環境で育てられた牛の肉質は非常にキメが細かく脂肪の融点が低いためにとろけるような口当たりと黒毛和牛独自の旨味が楽しめるんだそう。ただ提供するだけでなく、一番美味しく食べられるようにと50日間肉を熟成するという独自の提供方法をとっています。熟成することをドライエージングといい、熟成することで肉が通常の何倍にも旨味が増え、柔らかくなるんだそうです！しかも、、こちらでは牧場から加工、熟成までを完全に自社生産でおこなっているためリーズナブルにお肉を提供できるんです！そんなお店でいただくランチは、大きな極上サーロインの焼きすきランチ！大きなトロトロの肉をたっぷりと卵につけてご飯をかきこむ…これは絶品の美味しさでした！ということで、早速その様子を見ていきましょう！
Enjoy sukiyaki of dry aged meat this time! We had a lunch at the “Aged Yakiniku Gyudo! Main Store” in Kagoshima City, Kagoshima Prefecture! This is a store that offers Kagoshima brand beef "Satsuma Fukunaga Beef". Beef raised in a relaxed environment without stress has a very fine texture and a low melting point of fat, so you can enjoy the mouthfeel and the unique taste of Japanese black beef. In addition to providing it, we have a unique method of aging the meat for 50 days so that it can be eaten most deliciously. Aging is called dry aging, and aging will increase the umami of the meat many times and make it softer! What's more, here we can provide meat at a reasonable price because everything from ranch to processing and ripening is done in-house! Lunch at such a restaurant is a great sirloin grilled sukiyaki lunch! Put a lot of big meat on the egg and stir in the rice ... This was an exquisite taste! So let's see how it works!
