Where’s the Stairway to Heaven Today?
“He said to him, “Most certainly, I tell you, hereafter you will see heaven opened, and the angels of God ascending and descending on the Son of Man.”” (John 1:51 WEB)
Jesus spoke of the delivery mechanics of a miracle.
When He prayed, the angels ascended from Him, bringing the faith-filled prayers to God the Father at incredibly high speeds.
The angels then descended with the power of the Holy Spirit that’s required for the prayer to be answered.
Whether it’s healing or deliverance from demons, the power of God was poured out upon the people being prayed for.
“He dreamed. Behold, a stairway set upon the earth, and its top reached to heaven. Behold, the angels of God ascending and descending on it. Behold, Yahweh stood above it, and said, “I am Yahweh, the God of Abraham your father, and the God of Isaac. The land whereon you lie, to you will I give it, and to your offspring.” (Genesis 28:12-13 WEB)
When speaking to Jacob, Yahweh (as the pre-incarnate Christ) was standing at the top of the stairway, in all His divine majesty and glory.
But when He became a Man, He stood at the bottom of the stairway, in the humble form of a Man.
“He was afraid, and said, “How dreadful is this place! This is none other than God’s house, and this is the gate of heaven.”” (Genesis 28:17 WEB)
God’s house is not a plot of land. God’s dream has been realized by making every born-again believer a house of God—a temple of the Holy Spirit.
Today, we born-again believers who have the Holy Spirit in us have become houses of God with stairways to Heaven.
Each one of us forms an unbroken connection between Heaven and earth no matter where we go.
In Jesus’ own words, everywhere we go, “the kingdom of God is at hand”.
Live with the consciousness that you are linked to Heaven all the time, and that nothing can separate you from that connection. Unhindered divine supply flows constantly.
The stairway wasn’t built from your good works or law-keeping, so it can’t be destroyed when you sin.
The stairway is lovingly built from Jesus’ finished work at the cross—that’s a sure foundation that will never fail!
How do you practically use this stairway connection to your advantage? You need faith-filled prayers.
In my ebook “Messiah’s Miracles: The Power of Having Faith in Jesus Christ”, you will see God’s heart of love and grace in all 37 recorded miracles worked by Jesus in the four gospels.

[English Club HEC] SAI LẦM LỚN NHẤT NHIỀU NGƯỜI GẶP TRONG IELTS SPEAKING
VD: Are you interested in robots?
--> Step 1: Paraphrase câu hỏi: I don't take a keen interest in robots.
--> Step 2: Kéo dài câu trả lời bằng cách 'nói về quá khứ': When I was small, I used to watch lots of robot movies. They were really cool. But now that I'm an adult, I don't like robots so much anymore. I think they're childish.
Thêm vào một số từ 'fillers' là câu trả lời của bạn khá ổn -> Well, you know, I don't really take a keen interest in robots. I mean, when I was small, I used to watch lots of robot movies. At that time, they seemed really cool to me. But now that I'm an adult, I don't really like robots so much anymore. I think they're kind of childish, you know?
What kinds of food do you like?
Well, I gotta say I'm a big fan of Asian cuisine. I love the bold flavors and the use of spicies and herbs in Thai or Vietnamese dishes. Something I often daydream about eating is banh da cua, which is an absolutely lip-smacking dish. It's essentially rice noodles served with a crab broth. My mouth is practically watering just thinking about it.

The World Wants Air-Conditioning. That Could Warm the World.
More than crickets and fireflies, more than baseball and cookouts, perhaps nothing signals the arrival of summer in the United States like the soft familiar whir of air-conditioning.
But there is growing concern that as other countries adopt America’s love of air-conditioners, the electricity used to power them will overburden electrical grids and increase planet-warming emissions.
The number of air-conditioners worldwide is predicted to soar from 1.6 billion units today to 5.6 billion units by midcentury, according to a report issued Tuesday by the International Energy Agency. If left unchecked, by 2050 air-conditioners would use as much electricity as China does for all activities today.
Greenhouse gas emissions released by coal and natural gas plants when generating electricity to power those air-conditioners would nearly double, from 1.25 billion tons in 2016 to 2.28 billion tons in 2050, the report says. Those emissions would contribute to global warming, which could further heighten the demand for air-conditioning.
Right now air-conditioning is concentrated in a handful of countries, mainly in the United States and Japan, and increasingly in China.
While 90 percent of American households have air-conditioning, “When we look in fact at the hot countries in the world, in Africa, Asia, Latin America and the Middle East, where about 2.8 billion people live, only about 8 percent of the population owns an air-conditioner,” said Fatih Birol, executive director of the energy agency.
As incomes in those countries rise, however, more people are installing air-conditioners in their homes. The energy agency predicts much of the growth in air-conditioning will occur in India, China and Indonesia.
Some of the spread is simply being driven by a desire for comfort in parts of the world that have always been hot. But other factors are at play.
For example, as household wealth increases, so does the presence of household appliances like refrigerators and televisions, the report notes. These appliances generate heat, making homes warmer.
And because air-conditioners work in part by venting hot air outside, they also make the surrounding neighborhood warmer. By some estimates air-conditioning can raise overnight temperatures by about two degrees Fahrenheit (one degree Celsius) in some cities, the report said. Practically speaking, if enough of your neighbors buy an air-conditioner it may increase the temperature in your home enough to drive you to do the same.
And then, of course, there’s climate change. India is already one degree Fahrenheit warmer on average than it was a century ago. This has led to more “cooling degree days,” or days when average temperatures are warm enough to necessitate air-conditioning.
