I would like to brief both of you as well about the different between World Ranking and Olympic Ranking.
.
World Ranking is the total points of competition. The more competition you attend, the higher your World Ranking and it has nothing to do with World Cup Qualification and Olympic Qualification.
.
On the other hand we have,
Olympic Ranking which just started recently at July 6th to earn spot for Tokyo 2020 Olympic and the first competition to chase that point was European Championship. (And we can’t compete at European Championship as Malaysia is not part of European Country - just incase both of you not aware of this) .
.
So for us, the Malaysian team, our first tournament and opportunity to chase Olympic point is at the World Cup Series which will start in Paris & Canada (Oct), Berlin & London(Nov), New Zealand and Hong Kong (Jan) plus Asian Championship in Jakarta
then we are heading to World Championship in Poland.
So in total we will have 6 World Cups and a Continental Championship (Asian Champs) and the last one is World Championship.

This is the simplest explanation that i can provide with the hope that in the future you both will do your homework and reference your information to make sure it is correct before you publish it into the newspaper or to the public.

I am so disappointed of how our MNCF president provided a false information and not aware with the current Olympic Qualification system plus using me as a scapegoat to get sponsorship money!
