อย่างที่หลาย ๆ คนรู้ Quentin Tarantino มีแผนที่จะทำหนังอีก 1 เรื่องเท่านั้นก่อนที่จะเกษียณตัวเองออกไป ซึ่งดูเหมือนว่าเขาจะมีอยู่หลายไอเดียในหัวเลยทีเดียว ไม่ว่าจะเป็น Kill Bill Vol.3, Star Trek R-Rated, Reservoir Dog Remake หรือแม้แต่ Rambo

ระหว่างการออกทัวร์หนังสือ “Once Upon a Time In Hollywood” Tarantino เล่าให้กับ The Big Picture Podcast ถึงความสนใจที่จะสร้างหนัง Rambo First Blood ฉบับใหม่ที่ไม่ใช่การ Remake จากหนังปี 1982 แต่เป็นการดัดแปลงนวนิยายที่เขาชื่นชอบอย่าง First Blood ของ David Morrell โดยตรง ซึ่งนอกจากจะไม่บู๊แล้ว Rambo ยังตายอีกต่างหาก

หากได้ทำจริง ๆ Tarantino บอกว่าเขาจะเอานักแสดงมาแรงอย่าง Adam Driver ที่เคยเป็นทหารเก่ามาเป็น Rambo และให้ Kurt Russell นักแสดงรุ่นใหญ่ที่เคยร่วมงานกันตอน The Hateful Eight มารับบทเป็นนายอำเภอ

แม้จะเป็นไอเดียที่ดูบ้าดีเดือดและน่าสนใจอยู่ไม่น้อ แต่คงต้องเก็บความตื่นเต้นพับใส่กระเป๋าเอาไว้ก่อน เพราะนี่เป็นเพียงไอเดียในการทำ “หนังที่ดี” ของเขาเฉย ๆ โอกาสการเกิดขึ้นของหนังเรื่องนี้ค่อนข้างน้อยมาก เพราะทุกคนที่ติดตามผลงานของ Tarantino ต่างรู้ว่า เขาต้องการให้หนังเรื่องสุดท้ายของเขาเป็นมากกว่าแค่ “หนังดี” แน่นอน

"Over the Rainbow" is a ballad composed by Harold Arlen with lyrics by Yip Harburg. It was written for the 1939 film The Wizard of Oz and was sung by actress Judy Garland in her starring role as Dorothy Gale. It won the Academy Award for Best Original Song and became Garland's signature song.

This is a spontaneous jazzy version of the classics.
