I miss Kanagawa Prefecture! This beautiful prefecture includes Hakone, Yokohama, Odawara, Isehara and etc - all within 1 hour plus train ride from Tokyo.

What flowers do most people associate with Japan? Why, cherry blossoms, of course! The pretty pink bursts of color on these enchanting trees are truly a sight to behold. The cherry blossom is the personification of spring in Japan, and in Kanagawa Prefecture they tend to bloom from the end of March through mid-April. Some of the best places to see the blossoms in Kanagawa Prefecture are Ooka River and Mitsuike Park in Yokohama City, and by Odawara City's old Japanese castle, Odawarajo. Of course, there are many other wonderful places to view the cherry blossoms throughout Kanagawa Prefecture, so why not take a stroll and see what you can find?

昨年秋にオープンした家系ラーメン店に初訪問！神奈川県横浜市『北里家』に伺いました。京急本線「上大岡駅」からは約5分、横浜市営地下鉄ブルーライン「上大岡駅」からは約3分ほどにある家系ラーメン店です。2020年の9月にオープンしたばかりということで、初めての訪問を楽しみに伺いましたので早速ご覧ください！

＊撮影に際しては、お店の方や周りのお客様に充分配慮して撮影をおこなっています。First visit to the Iekei Ramen shop that opened last fall! We visited "Kitasato-“ya in Yokohama City, Kanagawa Prefecture. It is a iekei ramen shop located about 5 minutes from Keikyu Main Line "Kami-Ooka Station" and about 3 minutes from Yokohama Municipal Subway Blue Line "Kami-Ooka Station". Since it just opened in September 2020, I was looking forward to your first visit, so please have a look!

『大岡家』鴨居の本店へ！横浜の家系ラーメン店を巡るということで、今回は横浜線「鴨居駅」から徒歩１分の『横浜家系ラーメン大岡家鴨居店』へやってきました。こちらは『大岡家』の本店です。町田商店の姉妹店という位置付けで、2012年にオープンしました。大橋製麺のもっちりした麺に豚骨をやや抑えたクリーミーな口当たりの豚骨スープが特徴の家系ラーメン、早速食べる様子をご覧くださいね！

Go to the Ooka-ya Kamoi main store! This time, I went to "Yokohama-based Ramen Ooka-ya Kamoi-ten", which is a 1-minute walk from Yokohama Line "Kamoi Station". This is the main store of "Ooka-ya". It was opened in 2012 as a sister store of Machida Shoten. So, Let’s take a looking at the Iekei-ramen that features a pork bone soup with a creamy mouthfeel with a slightly reduced pork bone and a thin noodle made of Ohashi Seimen!
＊Iekei-ramen, is a style of ramen with fatty pork-soy-sauce flavored soup with thick flat noodles. The affiliated ramen houses originating from Yoshimura-ya Ramen in Yokohama! The famous and legendary ramen shop because of the perfect originaly ramen, made from pork born and soy sauce, until then no one made.
* Shooting is done in mid-March.
* When taking pictures, we take great care of the shoppers and customers around us.
