在西非加納 (Ghana)，患白化病的人一直受到歧視和迫害，小童更會被相信巫術者殺害。Ayimpoka是其中一位不幸者，但她得到家人的愛護和一個本地非政府組織每周的照料。西班牙攝影師Sara De Antonio Feu拍攝這張其後獲選為Nikon Photo Contest 2018-2019 Grand Prize的照片當日，她的白化病正在發作，且瘧疾仍待痊癒。
