hyde: "Yeah, the '4' ... there's four members, so I thought, 'Let's make it a 4.' And as for 'Nexus' ... well, it's kind of embarrassing to say it out loud, but it's the name of a robot."
Interviewer: "So you might say that with this song, the images that you took from the demo stage really became the world of the lyrics and the title, huh."
hyde: "Yeah. And I hadn't ever really done a title like this before."
Interview with hyde about the single 'NEXUS 4':
"So 'NEXUS' means something that creates 'bonds' or 'connections' so I'm guessing that the '4' that comes after that word refers to the members of L'Arc-en-Ciel?"
hyde: "Very good!"
"What, I got it right? I mean, that was just my impression--I wasn't trying to force some kind of meaning on it."
hyde: "No, yes--the '4' came about because there are four of us. And NEXUS . . well, it's a bit embarrassing but it's the name of a robot." Did you guys know that?
