FOR PAK ABU & FAMILY
.
I was informed on my whatsapp group that a person; Asri (Pak Abu's son) just passed away falling from his residence; Flat Meranti, Sri Damansara, which is 5mins away from my apartment. I visited the family to handover some donation and got to know that both parents; Pak Abu and wife are blind. The pandemic has hit the family hard, since both parents are not working and Arwah Asri was mentally challenged.

I requested the sister's bank account and had their blessing for this donation campaign (bank details are in the poster). Honestly alone i can only do so much, but together we can definitely help out this family.
.
So im pleading to my friends, families and public to help me raise the family's 'WHITE FLAG' as high as possible so that we can maximise the help for Pak Abu's family. If we can't help monetarily, a doa is also a great support for them.

As i've always said, "hari ni hari dia, mungkin esok hari kita". Thank you in advance for helping the family out. Semoga semua orang dimurahkan rezeki. Amin.

Thank you to all the #givingtreetw partners, sponsors, vendors, donors, volunteers, drivers, and anyone else who participated. It was incredible to see this many people so enthusiastic, kind, and dedicated to dishing out their time and resources to help out.
Thanks to you, nearly 1000 gifts were donated and delivered to 17 different group homes housing the marginalized. Most of the gifts went to disadvantaged or mentally/physically challenged kids, while some gifts went to mentally and/or physically challenged adults and elderly.
I am sure this past season of giving was not only impactful for the gift recipients, but for you all as well. It sure was for me.
(Due to respective rules and restrictions, limited number of people were permitted to deliver and visit the group homes. We hope you understand)

Thank you to Selangor Association for Mentally Handicapped (SAMH) Klang for having me visit their school and I got to meet outstanding children with many talents.
Volunteering leads to learning and development about other cultures and more importantly learns to discover yourself. When you volunteer its impossible to return home the same. The exposure of difference place other than yr home makes this so vulnerable. So even if u believe the world is in no need of saving, perhaps you yourself are. You will realize quite quickly that "your problems" really aren't that big on the true scale of things. Volunteering humbles you. ??
