Daoko blickt auf die vergangenen zwei Jahre ihrer Karriere zurück, nachdem sie sich 2019 selbstständig gemacht hat.

Seit ihrem Major-Label Debüt im Jahr 2015, hat sich Daoko als Künstlerin mit einer einzigartigen Präsenz und musikalischen Sensibilität entwickelt. Letztes Jahr hat sie mit der Veröffentlichung ihres neuen Albums anima bewiesen, dass sie in eine neue Phase eingetreten ist; sie war maßgeblich an der Produktion des Albums und dessen innovativen musikalischen Werke beteiligt. Im Jahr 2021 trat sie live mit einer Band aus temperamentvollen Musikern auf, darunter Shohei Amimori, das sie in die ganze Welt gestreamt hat. Im Juni dieses Jahres veröffentlichte sie über ihr unabhängiges Label eine neue EP auf verschiedenen Streaming-Plattformen und sie hat nie aufgehört sich zu bewegen und Musik zu verbreitzen, selbst im Angesicht der Coronavirus-Pandemie. Wie geht Daoko in einer Unterhaltungsindustrie, die aufgrund des Coronavirus immer noch um ihr Überleben kämpft, mit Musik, Ausdruck und dem täglichen Leben um? Over 22 different types of soil, rocks and leaves were sourced for the recent artworks. Soil is organic, so we had go through a process of treating and drying it first. It was then placed onto our timber boards and then sealed with resin.

One of the three pieces had an extra material - letters. These were actual letters by Major Andrew that were scanned and printed so it can look as much as its original as possible. Separated from his wife during the war, Major Andrew wrote over a thousand letters to his wife Andrene. Check out the dates written in the letter. We were so moved by them, we had to include them in the artworks.

These three artworks were created with soil gathered from Peninsular Malaysia, Sabah and Sarawak by referencing actual photos that were taken in the 60s. One of the vets, Major Andrew, still keeps many letters and photos from back then. It was very special that he shared them with my team and I. From the lot, we chose three images: the first showing the veterans and the airplane they flew in, the second showing Major Andrew’s wedding day (with words by Major Wong), the third showing the pain and realities of war.

We had the privilege of talking to a few of our veterans in the research process and got to hear some incredibly inspiring and heartbreaking stories. Stories of not seeing families for months on end, missing the childhood years of their children and losing close friends in combat. They understood the cost but they also knew that someone had to do it. It was most touching to me to see how these veterans came from all different races, backgrounds and various parts of Malaysia - peninsular, Sabah and Sarawak. One of them told me, “Why would race matter when you’re fighting for your country?”

?? With my new haircut, I was ready to rock and roll and explore Vietnam's major northern port city, Hai Phong. This city has an awesome history. Built and established during French occupation, many of the local buildings still show signs of French influence, such as the local train station. Some locals even still remember when the French were here. Later on during the Vietnam War, Hai Phong being a major port city, America dropped large numbers of bombs in the city as well as at the ports. After exploring in the city, I went out to the ports to have a look around. You might find it interesting. Join me.

A Total War Saga: TROY is the first in the award-winning strategy series to focus on the Bronze-Age Mediterranean and the legendary twenty-year conflict between the kingdoms of Troy and Mycenaean Greece, known as the Trojan War.

Total War Saga: Troy is a strategy computer game developed by the Creative Assembly Sofia and published by Sega. It is part of the Total War Saga sub-series and will be released on August 13, 2020 on the Epic Games Store, then on Steam in Summer 2021. As part of the 12 month exclusivity promotional deal with Epic Games, Total War Saga: Troy will be free of charge for the first 24h of it's release.

The game is set during the Trojan War in the Bronze Age, taking place the furthest back in time the series has ever covered.

The Greek gods featured in Troy can influence the game in similar ways to their Homeric counterparts, with their influence spanning entire factions, rather than directly intervening on the battlefield. Gaining favour with the different gods requires players to invest time or sacrifice resources, but also provides various benefits as the game progresses.

Although there is little documentation of Bronze Age naval warfare, naval combat has been included in the form of island battles, inspired by that featured in Total War: Warhammer II – Curse of the Vampire Coast. The Greek god Poseidon will play a major role in these battles.


Hero versus hero combat has been implemented in Troy, wherein two fighting heroes will be given room by nearby units, creating a circular battle area and preventing other units from intervening. Some heroes have an active battle ability called Divine Challenge, which taunts opposing characters into one-on-one combat. Eight heroes are included in the game, such as the Greek champion- Achilles, and the Prince of Troy- Hector.

A Trojan horse mechanic plays a major role within the campaign, appearing in the campaign at specific moments, and providing significant bonuses to players should it be acted upon quickly enough.

Troy introduces a new multiple resource economy that reflects the advancing pre-monetary barter economy of the Bronze Age setting. The five different resources are food, wood, stone, bronze, and gold, which can be found within different regions to varying degrees of scarcity. Food and wood are used to recruit early game units and construct simple buildings, whereas more formidable structures will require stone, and higher tier units will require bronze. Gold is vital for trade due to its universal rarity.

The diplomacy system in Troy builds on that featured in Total War: Three Kingdoms, allowing you to appease allies, your enemies in their place, allowing the player to change the entire course of the Trojan war. Other new diplomatic features which are unique to Troy will also be introduced.
