武漢肺炎改變了很多事，在國際外交上，因疫情之故，多數國際會議只能以線上取代。除非這些國際會議已經有很好的運作過程與清楚的目的，否則多數國際會議開會本身不是目的，而多是透過開會之便進行其他政治議程的討論與規劃，亦即會議之外的其他會面往往才是國際議程的主要推手。但當多數會議變成線上，這種會外會的機會就變少許多，連帶也影響出席開會的意願。這對國際議程的推動造成了遲滯現象。對外交的影響很大。

I've been a mother for 10weeks now. I must say the most challenging part of it all till date is Breastfeeding!
It has brought the term 'Love-Hate Relationship' to a whole new level.
I hate how feeding on demand is completely out of my control. I feel like I've lost my self, my identity, my life. I'm just a milk provider waiting round the clock for her to drink.
I hate that i have to watch what i eat bcoz it might decrease my milk supply, it might give her gas, it might give her rash, she might be allergic to certain things that i ate.
I hate that it has changed the way my breast and nipple look forever.
I hate that i wake up with wet tshirt on so many nights. And i sit wide awake in the wee hours in the morning contemplating if i should pump or sleep through in case she wakes up after i pump.
I hate that i have to work so hard to increase the supply of my milk! Toggling between Sunflower Lecithin to Cash Cow so that my milk is rich but it doesnt cause block duct! And eventually dropping all of it and go back to basics.
I hate that i love it so much. :)
For everything that i hate about it, there's only one reason to make up for all of it.
I love and cherish those moments with her.
When she's latching on me, it feels like we are in a world where it's just me and her. I know we r bonding in a special way that only both of us know. I know every fold and gram that she has put on is because of my blood, sweat and tears (can't be more literal).
I know that someday this will end and i know i will miss it terribly. And so, even though some days can be so tough, especially when she goes into growth spurt (Gosh, these growth spurts.. another story for another time), i bite the bullet through tears and frustration, and i just keep going.
The magic with motherhood is, few months down the road, all we can remember are the beautiful moments. It's only been 10 weeks and I'm already starting to forget how hard it was in the beginning. I love this selective memory! Lol
That being said, i know formula is an option and there's no discrimination. But breastfeeding and exclusive latching is my choice. So, Peace out.
爛尾的春假結束後，一切又回到原點，只有繼續腳踏實地地寫歌和尋找表演的機會。我們參加了 SONY 新力唱片辦的 Magic Power 校園樂團大賽，用 She Star Lord 這首歌進入到決賽，有了上次冠文在金旋獎的經驗，這次我們做足準備，演出時也狀態頗佳，結果在倒數第四個小節的一個最高音，我唱破了，當時心想：「這就是賽跑時一路領先，最後在終點前跌倒的感覺吧⋯⋯」
最後比賽的冠軍我忘了是「路邊攤」還是「芥末」，總之我們沒拿到獎項，不過其中一位評審老師賽後主動來攀談，他說原本大家要給我最佳主唱的，但因為最後那個破音只好也給了芥末的女主唱。接著他給了我們一張名片，名字很特別，叫做施立。隔年，我們在電視上聽到藍心湄的新歌〈狂奔〉，很驚訝地發現副歌的主要旋律和 She Star Lord 幾乎一樣，後來查了詞曲作者，赫然看到那位評審老師的名字，雖然他是作詞而不是作曲，再仔細看，是 SONY 唱片發行。這件事在我心中一直是個謎，也讓二十初頭的我對大型唱片公司的信任度大打折扣。
以新竹在地樂團來說，Echo 當時算相當活躍了，即便沒有在酒吧做場，新竹 SOGO 百貨、空軍基地的表演我們都接過，但基本上機會還是少得可憐，某天我們在網路上，看到北區大專搖滾聯盟有一個活動叫「震盪風城」，要徵選新竹在地的創作樂團，想都沒想就立刻報名了，結果不意外的，當天只有兩個新竹樂團參加，一個是我們，一個叫「Y2K」——朋友的金屬樂團，他們還曾經找過我當主唱，雖然表演過一次後我們就知道彼此是不同世界的人。
「震盪風城」辦在經國路上一家紫色餐廳前面的小廣場，現在的綠園道一帶，那也是我第一次見到 Freddy，他和其他工作人員一起忙進忙出的，閃靈那時在玩團的圈子已經相當知名，但我們都沒看過他素顏的樣子。當晚台下的觀眾不多，大概就是我們兩邊的親友團，比起春天吶喊和 Magic Power，那天大家沒有特別抱著什麼期待，直到多年後才發現，那是我們樂團生涯第一個重要的轉捩點。
當天的曲目有 She Star Lord、Unreally Confused、瞬間和感官駕馭，演出一切平順，反而是下台後主辦單位的反應讓我們有些受寵若驚，首先，台北共演樂團「聖戰士」的主唱 Leon，很熱情地來找我們聊天，說他很喜歡感官駕馭。從那天起我們變成了朋友，多年後他操刀了《獻給生命中的純粹》專輯的視覺設計，而我在他後來的樂團「惡魔刺客」發片場當嘉賓時，唱的也是感官駕馭。
接著是 Freddy 衝向我們說：「我很喜歡你們！你們好像 Smashing Pumpkins！」當下我愣了一會兒，後來想想應該是說 Unreally Confused 裡那段我從 Bullet with Butterfly Wings 偷來的句子吧，他接著問：「我們這系列活動的最終場在墾丁，可以請你們來參加嗎？」我問了日期後說：「這時間距離我們期末考太近了，可能沒辦法⋯⋯」他說好吧。事後我懊悔不已，心想自己這樣跟冠文有什麼兩樣——即便期末考可能比打系排要正當一點點——只能安慰自己就算我說好，其他人也不能去吧⋯⋯
結果期末考完，我所有的電機系主科全部被當，原本想說照慣例和老師求情，多少都能求到個幾科 60 分，沒想到老師們口徑一致地說：「這學期開始取消二一了，你就直接重修吧！」，最後，那學期我只過了一門通識課，拿到三學分，註定要延畢。
