Taiwan and Qatar join forces to promote business opportunities in assistive technologies
Institute for Information Industry (III) and MADA- Qatar Assistive Technology Center signed an MOU for the "Mada Innovation Program and Mada Lab" this April. In the future, we will jointly promote the Taiwan science and technology assistive solutions including long-term care for the elderly, long-distance care and many other DigiTech-enabled applications and services with partners such as the National Yang-Ming University ICF Assistive Technology Research Center to establish a technology-friendly solution for the elderly and people with disabilities.
III established a Middle East Office (KILO) in Kuwait and continued to establish cooperative relations with the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries and other Middle Eastern countries. In this cooperation, III assists the government to promote the export of Taiwan’s ICT products and solutions, promote communication and trade activities, establish a direct communication mechanism with meaningful organizations such as MADA Qatar Digital Technology Center, and promote Taiwan’s companies for international development opportunities.
