雖然最近不少人在找燈芯絨褲
但找的卻不是這款早在70年代
讓燈芯絨成了時下流行的運用
這款織物在16世紀還高檔貴族用的布料
要講到布料的起源要追溯到
公元200年的埃及有點久遠
直到了18世紀開始普及價格變的低廉
而到了19世紀成了工裝保暖且堅固耐用的材質，像是法國獵裝也常運用到，當時甚至有「窮人的天鵝絨」之稱。
到了一戰時，燈芯絨被運用為登山服以及當時馬褲的主要材質
這之後，燈芯絨就一直起起落落
70年代算是20世紀中的巔峰，Levi’s 、Lee 、Wrangler 等品牌都出現這材質設計，Levi’s 尤其以「白標」著稱，用著細燈芯絨且窄身喇叭褲的型態橫掃嬉皮年代～

雖然Lee 的丹寧故事比起Levi’s 來說晚了半個多世紀，從20年代開始了影響美國cowboys 文化的重要品牌
也許有人會想到底Lee 是工裝品牌還是牛仔品牌？答案都是！
早期以連身服union-All還有吊帶褲以及chore Jacket為主
到了1924年誕生了Lee第一條丹寧褲-Cowboy系列，以13oz 製作
當時不只是給伐木工人還有海上工作的當然還有牛仔們
1926年緊接著誕生的101B(Bottom)&101Z(zipper)
從褲腰上的標別與褲腰內的布標
拉鍊以及褲腳等等可以變辨認年代，比起Levis來說，是真的簡單許多，Lee 丹寧採用的是右斜紋（Levis為左斜紋）在柔軟度上當然有所差異。
黑標黃線即是第三款標別
而從50年代末期開始一直使用這個黑底黃線
可以從標上內容的排列組合來判斷年代，而上方有著「UNION MADE」就是最初期的
再來就會到下方，拉鍊為50年代末也很常看到的Gripper zipper
一般Vintage Lee 的商品都會有個「Union label」在某處
褲子的話是在屁股口袋底部或是側邊，如果還沒被洗掉的話
也許大家比較少知道屁股口袋上的縫線「～」Lazy S
在1944年才開始出現
對於Lee的丹寧褲可是不容小覷
否則到時候想收可也真的是不容易啊
