A major South Korean newspaper has recently praised Taiwan for its achievement in containing the #COVID19 pandemic, attributing the success, as well as its better economic performance over South Korea over the past few years, to Taiwan's decision to "turn its back on China."

Hyundai was founded by Sung Joo, a South Korean male mosquito, who was born from a farmer's family living in rural area of Kangwon province, south of Korea.
When I was young, Sungju, I dreamed that I wanted to be a student teacher.
But with poverty, he has no capital in education and no chance to follow his intentional dreams.
However, Sung Joo-Yung has been in a youthful businessman.
Because every time he travels to town, he always panting wood from his neighborhood to sell to make money.
What he does regularly when he has a chance to travel to the city.
It's to find newspaper to read, add knowledge.
At this point, that sparked his mind to earn more money to help his life and family get out of poverty.
When I start to see the opportunity that working in the city pays off.
So he plans to go out of the countryside to work in the city.
Sung Jooyung tried to run away from home to work in town many times, but he was taken home every time.
But his 4nd attempt was accomplished.
When his father doesn't come looking for him again.
In the first period, Sung Juyung started working as a laborer at Port in Inchon City.
And next to deliver rice to a rice store in Seoul.
He worked in rice stores with diligence.
And after 6 months of work, I have been promoted to take care of my shop accounting job.
After taking care of accounting job
He's getting more knowledge of business
I have been trusted by the rice shop owner who has health problems to take care of my business instead.
But shortly after, in the early 1939's, Korea took over Japan.
Rice businesses are being coerced to shut down by the Japanese Army.
He decided to bring his experience and money collected to start a carport business in his hometown in Kangwon province.
But the garage business has to shut down again from the orders of the Japanese government.
In conclusion, both rice trading and car garage business that seems to go well. It's not what he expects.
But then fate seems to be taking his side..
Because in 1945 Japan defeated WWII
Make U.S. to take care of the current South Korea or South Korea.
U.S. Entry makes doing business in South Korea more freedom.
It's this time that Sung Juyung was founded Hyundai in 1947
Initially, Hyundai started a construction business.
Because Sung Juyu, Mosquitoes South Korea needs to be restored after war ends.
One of the factors that made Hyundai grow well in the first period is because South Korea's government had several construction projects and restoration projects such as expressway, port construction and dams.
Hyundai is the winner of the South Korean government's multi-project auction.
Including other projects from the U.S. government
Later in 1965, Hyundai took first offshore road construction job.
This is a road building project in south of Thailand during Pattani and Narathi province.
Hyundai group's key step is to establish Hyundai Motor in 1967
Which today, Hyundai Motor became South Korea's largest automobile manufacturing company.
In 2018, Hyundai Motor was the world's 5th highest manufacturing company.
In 2019, Hyundai Motor proceeds 2.8 million baht, profit 83,000 million baht and now it's worth the company more than 1 trillion baht.
Hyundai group present in various businesses
Such as construction contractor, manufacturing and selling cars, retail, financial services.
Which, if all businesses are integrated into one company, the Hyundai group is considered South Korea's largest business group.
Even today, Sung Joo-yung is gone.
But his journey on his hard path to success will inspire many people.
So if we are facing difficulties now
Try to develop yourself and find a path forward.
Like the example of Sungjoo, mosquitoes from being a farmer's son, poor status can step up as the founder of Hyundai Group, South Korea's giant company nowadays..

【致香港人:願我們以生命回報自由。| Hongkongers, we shall give our lives to freedom. 】
(Please scroll for English version)

In 2019, Hong Kong protestors walked through the flames of the war raging across the length and breadth of the city. Yet, our people did not yield to the firearms. In 2020, the regime enacted draconian laws on the pretext of national security, putting the butcher's knife against Hongkongers’ throat. In just a few weeks time, over 20 Hongkongers, including Tony Chung Hon-lam, Jimmy Lai Chee-Ying, Royston Chow Tat-kuen, Ian Lai Yiu-yan, Andy Li, Wilson Li Chung-chak, Agnes Chow Ting, have become the first batch of arrested persons under the National Security Law. Students were arrested, a newspaper office was raided, an election was turned into a mere figurehead, a professor was dismissed - all of these are merely the prologue to a long gloomy night. It seems that the future of this city can only get ever duller.
We might be weak confronting the totalitarian party-state, but we are not alone.
Taiwan and South Korea are our predecessors in the quest for freedom. In 1947, the February 28 Massacre befell the press in Taiwan. Min Bao and at least 22 newspaper offices were seized and their publications were discontinued. The Chiang Regime introduced Martial Law and implemented a ban on newspapers. In 1980, just half a year after the May 18 Democratic Uprising, Chun Doo-hwan enacted The Basic Press Act, repealing 172 periodicals and forcefully merging seven news agencies into one. Having been through twists and turns, both of our predecessors have travelled so far on the road to democracy.
On the international field, we have the free world walking with us. The Hong Kong issue has been transforming global geopolitics. The trend of enforcing containment against totalitarianism is beyond doubt. On top of that, what we should be most uplifted by is the fact that every single person who cherishes democracy and freedom is voicing out for us in their positions.
We are now writing a new chapter in history. The time has put our generation on a cross-road. Shall we stand tall under the call of the times, or perish in silence? Hongkongers are pronouncing our choices with actions for posterity. "Let walls shut my mouth. Let prison bars divide my sky. As long as my heart keeps pounding, the ebb and flow of my blood will go on." Today, we are still hopeful as millions of Hongkongers have already been awakened by the horn of the resistance. Even the most stringent cage cannot imprison a soul yearning for freedom. With the same courage we have when we are standing against the bullets with umbrellas, we shall continue to ride with the wind and break through the waves.
The Hong Kong University Students’ Union shall continue to stand with Hongkongers. Hannah Arendt once wrote, “that even in the darkest of times we have the right to expect some illumination, and that such illumination might well come less from theories and concepts than from the uncertain, flickering, and often weak light that some men and women, in their lives and their works, will kindle.” Through blood, toil, tears and sweat, we will strive on. Out of our faith in one another, our faith in this city named Hong Kong, we will dedicate our lives to the pursuit of freedom in this city. However difficult it may be, Hongkongers will eventually restore our city.
The Hong Kong University Students’ Union

[HAS MCDONALD'S CONQUERED ASIA?]
If McDonald's were a country, it's revenue would make it the 105th largest economy in the world, surpassing the GDP of Estonia, Cambodia & Afghanistan.
The number of McDonald's employees worldwide would be more than the entire population of Iceland, Barbados and Samoa.
It's a big company, but it wasn't always that way.
McDonald's was founded on May 15th, 1940 in San Bernardino, California - that's over 77 years ago - and has since expanded to a 120 countries and territories around the world, serving 68 million customers each day.
It took 27 years for the first McDonald's to appear outside of the US, and 31 years to make it's way to a second continent.
THIS continent was Asia, and in this video I'm going to take you through the next 46 years of McDonald's' Asian ascension.
So, which Asian country was the FIRST to open a McDonald's? What did McDonalds have to sacrifice in order compete with local markets? And how much of Asia is there still left to conquer, as of today?
We'll get into all of that, so grab a double cheeseburger (maybe some fries), and we'll explore every Asian country to have ever had a McDonald's.
Welcome to McAsia.
Some notable McDonald's branches in Asian countries are:
- McDonald's Japan for being the first Asian McDonald's ever.
- McDonald's Singapore for having the oldest McDonald's employee worldwide at 93 years old.
- McDonald's Malaysia for being the first McDonald's in a Muslim-majority country.
- McDonald's Turkey for being the first McDonald's in West Asia (Middle East).
- McDonald's South Korea to be the first to sell alcohol (beer).
- McDonald's Russia for having the largest McDonald's outlet in Asia in Pushkin Square, Moscow.
- McDonald's Israel for having the healthiest McDonald's in the world.
- McDonald's Saudi Arabia for oddly taking out a full page ad in a Saudi national newspaper swearing loyalty to the new crown prince.
- McDonald's India for being the first McDonald's in South Asia, as well as having the first vegetarian McDonald's in the world.
- McDonald's Pakistan for having served the Taliban at one point in time.
- McDonald's Georgia for having the chain's most exquisite outlet.
- McDonald's Iraq for only having ONE McDonald's outlet for the US Army stationed in Baghdad.
- McDonald's Kazakhstan for being the first McDonald's in Central Asia.
