The most emotional quotes from Pixar's Soul
.
∷∷∷∷∷∷∷∷∷∷∷∷∷∷∷∷∷∷∷∷∷∷∷∷∷∷∷∷∷∷
1. Is all this living really worth dying for?
.
2. My life is meaningless.
.
3. “I’m just afraid that if I died today my life would have amounted to nothing.” ~ Joe
.
4. It’s just I’ve been waiting on this day for my entire life. I thought I’d feel different.
.
5. A spark isn’t a soul’s purpose. Your mentors and your passions, your purposes. Your meanings of life. So basic.
.
6. In the zone. “It’s like he floats off the stage, that guy was lost in the music, he was in it and he took the rest of us with him.” ~ Joe
➝ 朋友問我,你很常in the zone對嗎?
.
7. He’s just criticizing me to cover up the pain of his own failed dreams.
People like him just bring other people down so they can make themselves feel better.
.
8. “We only have a short time on this planet. You want to become the person that you were born to be. Don’t waste your time on all the junk of life. Spend your precious hours doing what will bring out the real you. The brilliant passionate you, that’s ready to contribute to something meaningful into this world.” ~ Joe
.
9. So what do you think you’ll do? How are you gonna spend your life?
I’m not sure. But I do know… I’m going to live every minute of it.
.
10. I never got my spark. -22
Yes, you did. Your spark isn’t your purpose. That last box fills in when you’re ready to come live. -Joe

“I heard this story about a fish, he swims up to an older fish and says:
‘I’m trying to find this thing they call the ocean.’
‘The ocean?’ the older fish says, ‘that’s what you’re in right now.’ ‘
This’, says the young fish, ‘this is water. What I want is the ocean!’”

Why is it the "Lake" of Fire?
“Then he will say also to those on the left hand, ‘Depart from me, you cursed, into the eternal fire which is prepared for the devil and his angels...These will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.”” (Matthew 25:41, 46 WEB)
Have you ever wondered why it’s called the “lake of fire” (in Greek: limnēn tou pyros) and not a “sea”, “ocean” or “river”?
A lake is defined as a body of water that is totally surrounded by land such that it is isolated from water bodies that can feed it or drain it.
A lake is a picture of stagnancy and separation.
After a person is cast into the lake of fire, there’s no way out. He won’t be flowing out of it. He will just be there burning forever, suffering “eternal punishment”.
The souls burning in the lake of fire will be eternally separated from God, willing to do anything to make the suffering stop, but that is impossible. Their fate is utter hopelessness.
The land surrounding the lake of fire is barren. Nothing grows there, for there is no life.
People question why a loving God can condemn people to such a fate. Some preachers try to ‘help’ God by saying that the suffering in the lake of fire is just temporary, or that sinner are burnt up and cease to exist. Some even twist it to say that the lake of fire is just figurative and not literal.
While trying to make sense of the lake of fire with their limited minds, they forget the part about God’s righteousness—that sin has to be punished.
Imagine a person repeatedly committing a lifetime of crimes against the King of Heaven and earth. Doesn’t that warrant a grievous punishment deserving of the crimes?
God already graciously provided a way out for people which He paved with His own suffering and shed blood. They only need to place their faith in Jesus as Lord and receive salvation freely as a gift.
If people reject that, then there’s no hope left for them.
God never designed man to sin. Man chose that on his own. God is the one always saving and reconciling as much as He righteously can.
Every day, the souls of people who aren’t saved are dying and descending into Hell.
Everyone should have many chances to hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ while they are still alive. That is why we study God's word to find the beautiful revelations within and preach the Gospel as led and empowered by the Holy Spirit!
In contrast to the barren, stagnant and isolated lake of fire, born-again children of God will get to enjoy the river of water of life, and twelve different fruits from the trees of life planted in New Jerusalem.
“He showed me a river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb, in the middle of its street. On this side of the river and on that was the tree of life, bearing twelve kinds of fruits, yielding its fruit every month. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.” (Revelation 22:1-2 WEB)
Our destiny is full of fruitfulness, vibrancy and close fellowship with God. In our path is fullness of life and there is no death.

You’ve heard about this. Bees are dying. And we’re gonna go down with them. But maybe you haven’t heard that life in the ocean is just as crucial for human survival as those on land.
This episode, Nature N8 speaks with Dr. Enric Sala about his new book: The Nature of Nature - Why We Need the Wild, which lays out precisely how we are integrated in this planet’s wondrous and irreplaceable ecosystem. Dr. Enric Sala was a professor at the Scripps Institute of Oceanography, now working full time in conservation as a National Geographic Explorer-in-Residence. The Nature of Nature synthesizes his decades of research on ecology, and provides an accessible introduction to people who want to learn more about the natural world.
In their conversation, N8 and Dr. Sala talk about hope in marine protected areas, swimming with sharks in California, and the marvelous message of the Church of Plankton.

#Corals are dying. By 2050 we probably won’t have any corals left in our oceans. But a really cool thing about coral is that it regenerates if we give it the opportunity to. So scientists around the world are trying to figure out how to regrow coral reefs, and some have even turned to #3Dprinting for coral restoration. But is this possible? Can technology save corals?
This is a podcast about how NOT to save the #environment. Hosted by Nature N8 (Nate Maynard), an environmental researcher working on energy, ocean, and waste issues.

Vers 1
Baby here we go again I’m standing right in front of your door
Holding back the feelings that I would never have felt before
Is that the shining stars fall into your ocean eyes?
When you smile I’m dying inside don’t expect my mind to be alright
Vers 2
I tried so hard to tell you everything inside my head
But none of it could ever help me bring you back, instead
I made myself a hole that you’re the one who were meant to fill
I told myself that distance is nothing to our love, but still.
Pre Chorus
You are the one that I find it so special
You are the one that I really care for
I painted a picture of us together
And now I know that I’m losing you forever
Chorus
So I say goodbye to my only friend
No I just couldn’t see today things will turn out to be this way
Hold me tight for one last time
No I’m not coming back cause things will never be the same again
