The mandatory quarantine period will be reduced to seven days for fully vaccinated travelers from low-risk areas including mainland China, Taiwan, Australia and Singapore; 14 days for travelers from medium and high-risk areas countries, including Canada, France, Germany, Indonesia and the United States. 21-day quarantines and other entry requirements and bans will remain in place for arrivals from extremely high-risk and very high-risk areas such as India, the Philippines, Ireland and the United Kingdom, said Thomas Chan, the Permanent Secretary for Food and Health.

針對曾到中國內地、澳門及台灣人士，如已打兩針加14天，非以「回港易」回港，由5月14日開始，其指定檢疫酒店強制檢疫期可由14日減至7日。中風險地區，包括加拿大、法國、德國、印尼及美國等，強制檢疫期可由21日減至14日。至於極高風險及甚高風險的檢疫措施不變，分別為禁止來港及21日指定酒店檢疫。
