Today I'd like to share with y'all "Kousui" (Perfume in Japanese) - a Tik Tok viral hit written by a mysterious indie singer-songwriter called Eito.
.
Fell in love with this song when I first heard it, and I can't help but started looking up who's the mastermind behind it. Japanese netizens called the song "突然ヒット" (sudden hit) and think that Eito is "a genius" as he is 1, an indie artist with no major label (at the time when the song was released) and 2, this song topped the chart in a short time span, replacing the famous Rock Band Official HIGEDANdism's hit song "I LOVE..." (which was No. 1 for 11 weeks)

Interesting fact: a famous perfume brand was mentioned in the chorus of the song, and sales increased among younger age group ever since this song went viral. Can you hear it? Comment down below!

The Last of Us Part 2 เพิ่งจะวางจำหน่ายเมื่อวันที่ 19 มิ.ย. ที่ผ่านมา และด้วยความสำเร็จอย่างล้นหลามของตัวเกม ที่มันขึ้นแท่นเกม Exclusive บน PS4 ที่ทำยอดขายได้เร็วที่สุดใน UK นั่นอาจจะไม่ใช่เรื่องน่าแปลกใจนัก ที่ Sony อาจจะอยากให้ Naughty Dog ทำภาคต่อของเกมนี้ในอนาคต

แต่สำหรับ Neil Druckmann ผู้ร่วมสร้างซีรีส์และผู้กำกับร่วมของ The Last of Us ทั้ง 2 ภาคแล้ว ดูจะเป็นเรื่องยากมากๆ ไม่ใช่เรื่องว่ามันจะขายได้หรือไม่ หากแต่เป็นการหาเรื่องราวที่น่าสนใจมาเล่าในภาคต่อไป

จากในบทสัมภาษณ์กับทาง Indie Wire เมื่อถามว่าเป็นไปได้มั้ยที่จะมี The Last of Us Part 3 คุณ Druckmann อธิบายว่า ภาคต่อของ The Last of Us จะต้องผ่านการทดสอบเหมือน Part 2 ก่อน ไม่ว่าทาง Naughty Dog จะหาวิธีใหม่และน่าสนใจมาเล่าเรื่องราวแทนที่จะใช้วิธีการเล่าแบบเดิมๆ ได้หรือไม่ และจากที่ Druckmann กล่าวมา Part 2 ก็ถือว่ายากมากพอแล้ว และจะยิ่งยากกว่าใน Part 3 พร้อมกล่าวว่า "ในตอนนี้" เขายังนึกไม่ออกว่าจะทำแบบนั้นได้ยังไง

"ผมคิดว่า การทดสอบว่า เราควรจะทำ Part 3 หรือไม่ ก็จำเป็นจะต้องมีการทดสอบเหมือนสิ่งที่เราเคยทำไปใน Part 2 ด้วยเกมภาคแรก มันไม่ได้มีความคาดหวังใดๆ และเหมือนว่าเราอยากทำอะไรก็ทำได้ แต่ตอนนี้ เราได้วางรากฐาน ด้วยตัวละครบางตัว ธีมและกระบวนการบางอย่าง ที่มันเป็นตัวตัดสินว่า เราควรทำ Part 2 ต่อมั้ย เราจำเป็นจะต้องทำอะไรบางอย่างที่ไม่ใช่แค่แฟนๆ รู้สึกสบายใจ แต่ต้องทำอะไรที่มันเข้ากับอารมณ์ความรู้สึกหลักที่เราได้เจอในเกมภาคแรก และถ้าหาสิ่งนั้นไม่เจอ เราก็ไม่มีเหตุผลที่จะทำ Part 3 ต่อ"

Otherside Entertainment หรือตัวแทนจำหน่ายเกม System Shock 3 ภาคต่อเกมแนวสยองขวัญ Sci-fi ประกาศว่าบริษัทยักษ์ใหญ่อย่าง Tencent จะเตรียมเข้ามาช่วยเหลือการพัฒนาเกมดังกล่าวอย่างเต็มรูปแบบ หลังจากก่อนหน้า ทีมพัฒนาประสบปัญหาด้านต้นทุน ทำให้การพัฒนาเกมไม่มีความคืบหน้าเท่าที่ควร
