TECHWEAR IN VIETNAM

Techwear Vietnam giờ đã chọn lọc hơn rất nhiều – so với thời điểm hai năm trước. Mình cũng không dám nhận rằng về trình độ hay kiến thức về thời trang technical hơn ai vì theo bước chân của các bạn đi sau này, mọi người đều rất giỏi và tìm hiểu sâu. Một cộng đồng nhỏ nhắn và xinh xắn, humble và welcome mọi người.

Nhưng với kinh nghiệm của riêng bản thân mình, những người mặc techwear từ trước và tới bây giờ có thể chia lại nhiều như sau, điều này cũng ảnh hưởng tới phong cách mà họ ăn mặc cũng như con đường technical mà họ theo đuổi: (Cả mình cũng đã trải qua hết các giai đoạn này)

Những người theo đuổi technical clothing và mặc chúng vì những tiện ích mà chúng mà lại mà không có loại thời trang nào có thể làm được. (Bậc IV)

Những người tiếp theo thì cũng yêu thích material/vật liệu và các function/tiện ích nhưng khi mặc họ không sử dụng và không cần hết các tiện ích đó. Có nhiều yếu tố liên quan đó là vì môi trường không phù hợp, điều kiện hoàn cảnh không phù hợp. (Bậc III)

NHững người mặc tech-wear chỉ vì sự xuất hiện của các tiện ích trên. Đó có thể là hidden pocket, sling, cargo pocket hay kiểu sáng tạo. Họ thực sự không cần – nhớ là không cần trong mục đích mặc đồ tech của họ những tiện ích kể trên. Đơn thuần là họ chỉ cần sự xuất hiện của những thiết kế tiện ích trên ( Bậc II).

Và Bậc I – những người chỉ cần một dạng có thể gọi là tech-inspire. Một cầu nối giữa thời trang và function/utility. Họ đơn thuần là thích mà thôi – đơn giản là mặc trông hay hay. Cũng không có gì để complain hay phàn nàn cả.

Như nhiều bài viết mình đã đề cập. Tech-wear vốn dĩ rất đơn giản về khái niệm – quần áo mang công nghệ là để mang những tiện ích đặc biệt cho các mục đích chuyên dụng cùng với chất liệu phù hợp với môi trường đó. Bắt nguồn từ những công việc đòi hỏi sức chịu đựng của người mặc với môi trường khắc nghiệt như lính thủy đánh bộ, công nhân xây dựng, những người leo núi, lính cứu hỏa, lính đặc nhiệm.. Cũng từ đó, những garment/material/vật liệu có khả năng chống nước, co giãn, thoáng khí – giữ ấm và giúp những công việc đặc thù mà người mặc vào có thể sử dụng dễ hơn. Technical clothing suy cho cùng là cách mà con người sử dụng thời trang (chưa tính đến độ thiết kế nhé) để bảo vệ da, mắt và những bề mặt nhạy cảm khỏi các yếu tố ngoại lai với khả năng vận động tối đa.

Tính fashionable/Thời trang sẽ được xem nhẹ hơn (Tất nhiên là quan trọng) nhưng không bằng giá trị đến từ các chất liệu và kĩ thuật tiên tiến ứng dụng vào technical clothing. Hiking có thể được xem là một trong những technical clothing tiên phong (Các bạn có thể tham khảo The North Face, Patagonia hay Kathmandu là 1 ví dụ điển hình – ngay cả Arcteryx Veilance cũng vậy). Sportwear cũng hay ứng dụng công nghệ vào chất vải trong đó (Tiêu biểu là Nike, U.A..) cũng được xem là 1 dạng của technical clothing.

Vậy để mang tính thời trang vào Technical Clothing – cần những con người thổi hồn vào chúng. Errolson Hugh, Massimo Osti, Aitor Throup.. là những cái tên tiêu biểu. Nhưng như mình đã đề cập ở bên trên, technical clothing bản chất của chúng là về chất liệu và tiện ích mà chúng mang lại – cho nên những vị trên là cầu nối giữa technical và fashion. Việc nhầm lẫn giữa Goth/Dark(?)/Casual và Tech là 1 việc hoàn toàn dễ dàng hiểu được, phù thuộc vào tính cách của người thiết kế - mà họ thổi hồn cá tính vào mỗi clothing line mà họ sản xuất. Nhiều khi có thể nhầm lẫn với avant-garde (Sau này có nhiều anh chị phổ biến, đó là 1 hệ tư tưởng phá cách hơn hẳn là 1 style thời trang), casual hay vintage.. nhưng chúng ta hãy cùng nhớ tới bản chất cốt lõi của Technical Clothing : Đó là công nghệ. Còn sao thì mình đã nói về phía trên.

Cũng theo từng bậc của người mặc ở phía trên mà khái niệm về technical clothing cũng tùy biến thay đổi theo nhận thức của họ. Khó có thể kiểm soát được – nhưng mong rằng sẽ có sự biến chuyển từ bậc I – II – III và IV.

[READ ME ^_^] Hey everybody,

As promised- here are some of the footages of the Meet & Greet. Most of it is just footage of the crowd because my sister was being camera girl of the day and I'm hidden because ...well..I'm short lol.... It was a crazy crazy day but I had the most fun meeting you all. I had a skin allergy to squid but I'm still glad I got to meet you all. Everybody was sweet, friendly and helpful.

Honestly...I was afraid nobody would turn up and even so- I seriously thought there would only be 40-50 people max. I did not expect it to be so crazy and I really hope nobody got hurt.
