When I first met him, I told my best friend, "He could be the ONE" even though we were living in completely different worlds. Different countries, different friends, different vocations. [No, we didn't meet online!] Thinking back, I'm not sure what made me said that, I didn't even know if he liked me!

When you found the one, you just know? Okay, maybe not. Gosh, I hate that line. The point is don't focus your energy on 'finding Mr Right'. Work on being the best person you can be, see the world and when the right person comes along, he will appreciate you for being YOU. It takes work, it takes commitment, it takes two hands to clap.

This was supposed to be a mushy and romantic message to my husband on our anniversary. But I can't help being the ever practical person that I am. I guess (hope!) after 13 years and 3 kids later, that's one of the qualities he loves about me 😆.
