HARGA SEBUAH KEJUJURAN
Petang semalam..
Setelah selesai solat Asar di sebuah masjid di Muar.. Disebabkan takut jem nak balik ke JB...
Aku bergegas ke kereta. Tetapi ketika diparking langkahku terhenti seketika. Ada sebuah sampul surat besar betul2 terjatuh di tepi kereta ku. Dengan hati-hati aku angkat sampul surat itu. Agak berat juga...

Yesterday evening..
After finishing the prayer of Asar at a mosque in Muar.. Due to fear of going back to JB...
I rushed to the train. But when parked my steps stopped instantly. There was a big letter cover totally fell off my car. I carefully lift the letter cover. Pretty heavy too...
Feeling wrong, forced to know the identity of the owner, I opened the cover of the letter and found another big cover and a bank name. I read there is also name and address, as well as some money... much..
Yes.. Money is not RM100. 00 in 10 thick bonds. I'm freaking out. Between confuse and trust, I return to the mosque. I need to find the owner of this money But when I ask all the pilgrims, nobody knows...
I have no choice but to find the owner. Then I rushed to the address on that big cover of the money. When I arrive, I greet and knock on the gate. Out of a man with high-age, bright white bright and araban who answers his regards and asks who he wants to find? I told him, ′′ I want to meet Tuan Haji Salim, is this house true?"
′′ I am Haji Salim. What's up sir?"
′′ Pak Haji just now there was a prayer at Tanjung Emas Mosque Bandar Muar?" ask me
′′ Yes. True ′′
′′ Pak Haji just now brought any time to pray?"
He replied, ′′ Astaghfirullah.. yes. I brought a big brown cover and I looked for it.. I forgot where it is." My view is full of question marks.
I went to the vehicle and pulled out the big cover I found earlier.
′′ Cover of this letter to Tuan Haji?"
′′ Yes yes yes. that one. Thank God. Thank you son. In this cover there's money I just released from the bank just now."
Without saying much, I handed the cover and asked myself to go home.
But I was arrested by Pak Haji Salim..
′′ Wait son.. there's something I want to gift you as my gratitude."
Haji Salim who is Arab-faced then called the name of a woman. Not long then a woman in hijab. Eyes with eyes. Heart melt speechless. Heartbeat is countless.
′′ Want this my child. She's still single. She promised to marry a good man and honest like a child."
I'm shocked...
I said..
′′ Sorry Tuan Haji, I'm married. I need to discuss with my wife and ask her permission about this Tuan Haji show."
Haji Salim smiled, he said..
′′ Calm down son, let me ask permission from your wife. There's a phone number?"
I nodded the weak. Shame but want to. I don't want it. Her child is so beautiful. Then I gave my wife's handphone number. Tuan Haji Salim directly dialed that number and he told the real story.
My body suddenly shivering, what else when the phone was given to me. He said my wife wanted to talk to me. Crossed my mind. What am I going to answer.
It's like a lightning splitting the earth. When I heard my wife's voice speaking loudly.
Brother, brother. Abangggg wake up. Already entered Maghrib!!
Everyday serious stories are also boring...
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
~ don't dream too much eh 😂😂😜

“In Limbo”
Introduction
You can’t imagine...
what it’s like to walk silently for three hours in the forest,
what happens when you spin around and around for hours,
what it is to rub two sticks together until they spark a fire
what might happen on a twelve-hour overnight journey
...unless you go out and do it.
Just as some people embark on a pilgrimage, some hike the Pacific Crest Trail, some navigate the mountains in Tibet and some follow the chair of the Mazu goddess on a 10-day walk to and from Central Taiwan’s Baishatun temple; some others choose instead to venture inside, for a 10-day silent meditation or to live in seclusion for days, weeks, even years. What they are searching for is not an external answer, but an internal one - the answer to a certain life question, the power to overcome a problem they are facing, rather than expecting to find the solution through further indulgence in the very problem that troubles them.
Perhaps this evening is an opportunity. An opportunity for the people of this day and age to see if they can be present in the moment and encounter something real and true to the self. You do not know exactly what you’ll experience, but it will be your own personal experience and therein - as opposed to some external destination - lies a truly profound, genuine journey.
Action Concept
The “In Limbo” action is based on the concept of ‘liminality’ and refers to the state of being at the borderline, a zone of in-betweenness, where conditions are sufficient but not yet complete; the chaos before the clarity.
“In Limbo” can also be seen as a response to the lack of functional rituals in the contemporary world. Today, with the gradual disappearance - or the complete formalization - of functional social rituals, such as coming-of-age ceremonies, which represent growth and the stages of transformation, we are left in a state of ambiguity regarding our internal and external stages, we lack the chance to clearly and corporeally feel the boundaries between stages as well as the specific action of crossing them. Therefore, ultimately one may become stuck in-between, unable to complete the process of ‘growth’, unable to clearly identify and embody a personal life essence and direction. The conundrum facing our very existence is not how to get old, but how to ‘grow’.
For the “In Limbo” action, we remove all the coloration and formalism of organised religion and return to the purely functional (directive) aspects of ritual action, the underlying goal of ushering in the personal qualitative changes that each individual requires. The success or failure, the coherence and completeness of the ceremony, will depend both on the individual and the group as a whole, a journey of self-metamorphosis, centered on the collective.
During the 12-hours of overnight training, simple, high-intensity, repetitive movements (the physical) will form the foundations of the entire action on which the independent will of each individual (the spiritual) will flourish. By performing these physical actions unpresent in our everyday lives, there is a rupture with our daily habits and our inner inertia can be broken, generating a dialogue - in this moment transformation becomes possible. Exactly which question each individual needs to face also becomes apparent during the personal exploration in the course of the action.
The 12 hours of overnight training for “In Limbo” will consist of four stages: "departure", "awareness", "purification" and "celebration". Each stage is developed from the long-term training methods of the U-Theatre, and after destroying our rigid forms, the results will reconstitute a response to the “lack of contemporary opportunities metamorphosis.”
On this night, Laoquan Mountain will no longer be the original Laoquan Mountain. It will become the threshold, the liminal gate into an unknown world, through which we will step through together…

So the gatekeeper is down. For too long we the creatives are at the mercy of "someone on top" and in the hands of a few selective gatekeeper.
By getting through the gate, we are deemed "successful" and "recognised" and our creative works are presented to a big audience.
We go through multiple obstacles, low or high, rough or smooth, just to get through the gatekeeper. What do we get in return? Perhaps a larger audience? New opportunities? More $$$?
With the amount of social media platform available to us at no cost, we are no longer at the mercy of a gatekeeper thus we can truly create stuffs that we believe in, that we are passionate in directly to our audience. The digital platform enabled a direct relationship with the audience, skipping the gatekeeper altogether.
The gatekeeper's time is long overdue, only to be accelerated by a global pandemic.

Kenting (墾丁, pronounced Ken-ding) is a popular holiday destination in Taiwan for tourists and locals. Come with us on a day trip to this beautiful place - there's lots more waiting for you here in Kenting!
HOW TO GET TO KENTING (FROM KAOHSIUNG):
FROM ZUOYING: The Kenting Express Bus leaves from Zuoying station (which contains both the high speed rail station and MRT station) and takes approximately 2.5 hours to reach Kenting Main Street. You can buy tickets from the Kenting Express Booth at the station (at the top of the escalators just outside the High Speed Rail Station) or you can buy tickets online here (http://ticket.fun2tw.com/Login.aspx). I recommend buying in advance for weekends, holidays and in peak season (July/August school holidays). The cost is nt300 per person, one way. The website is in Chinese but if you use the Chrome browser your phone/computer should automatically translate the pages - enough to figure out what you are doing. The bus has free wifi and USB charging ports.
FROM THE AIRPORT: There are also buses that leave from the Kaohsiung airport (also known as Xiaogang airport). You can only buy these tickets at the airport. There's a timetable here: http://www.ptbus.com.tw/09/%E8%87%A8918.htm. You'll notice the destination on the website reads "Xiaowan" - this beach is right next to Kenting main street.
FROM KAOHSIUNG TRAIN STATION: Buses also leave from Kaohsiung Main Station although the pickup point is not clearly signposted - it's behind the MRT station. At time of writing (April 2018) the Kaohsiung main station is under heavy construction and I would recommend just catching the MRT to Zuoying instead rather than trying to find the bus amongst the chaos!
Beware of taxi drivers convincing you to ride with them - the fare is never cheaper than the bus, they will make you wait until their taxi is full of passengers, and the ride will definitely be less comfortable. It's definitely best to ignore them and get on the bus!
What to do in Kenting
There's quite a lot to do in Kenting, Taiwan - but it might be a bit different from the beach holidays you are used to. You can:
Relax on the beach - get a beer at the beach bar at Xiaowan (https://goo.gl/maps/FexLoksFvjE2), find shelter under a crag - and if you have kids watch them play safely in the little stream that connects the river to the sea. There are also a range of water sports available here,
Browse the night market (https://goo.gl/maps/xE3cZZa5td52) - this starts at sundown and is reportedly the longest in Taiwan. My personal favourite snacks here are the fried milk and the banana pancake.
Visit the Aquarium (https://goo.gl/maps/uAuFRB7srd92) - I haven't done this yet but it's apparently a very good aquarium (just be aware that it's a bit outside Kenting, perhaps pair it with a day trip to Hengchun town),
Wander around Hengchun old town (perhaps start at Hengchun south gate (https://goo.gl/maps/eTMnSE2npC72) and work towards Hengchun old street),
Swim at Nanwan beach (https://goo.gl/maps/xbYP23YZ9AB2) - this beach is my personal favourite for swimming and it's also good for collecting shells and sea glass.
Learn to surf with Afei (who also runs a bed and breakfast): https://goo.gl/maps/tT7GEq363Xt
Enjoy a meal at Bossa Nova (https://goo.gl/maps/g1t4G8xekv52) run by a lovely Taiwanese family and their French daughter-in-law,
See fire coming out of the ground at Chuhuo natural gas spring (https://goo.gl/maps/Lncfvr5UVLs)
Bird watch at Longluantan (https://goo.gl/maps/kCtguhsi6Xk)
Eat sushi and ride in a glass bottom boat at Houbihu (https://goo.gl/maps/ZYbn5wKPMx12)
Snap a selfie at the southernmost point of Taiwan (https://goo.gl/maps/KTo14HuZc6E2)
Check out Sail Rock, a huge coral reef rock that apparently looks like President Nixon (https://goo.gl/maps/ZFLiC3Z9sf22)
How to get around Kenting
Hire an electric scooter - for nt600 per day you can hire a scooter to get around. There are many scooter hire stores on Kenting main street. No licence is needed but you do need your passport.
Catch the shuttle bus - a whole day ticket is nt150 and you can buy it on the bus - just say ONE DAY PASS clearly and they will understand. Map and timetable can be found here (http://www.ptbus.com.tw/03/0302a.htm), all in Chinese unfortunately. Alternatively, you can just pay with change as you go. The downside is that the buses don't come very often and the stops aren't that easy to find.
Taxi - being a holiday area, taxis often do not run the meter but will rather negotiate a fare with you up front. Taiwanese taxi drivers are generally not out to rip you off but you will definitely pay more than in other cities in Taiwan (if you are a westerner you will likely still think the price is very cheap compared to home). In return, you will ride in air conditioning!
