Miles Tost หรือ MilesZx หนึ่งในทีมพัฒนาเกม Cyberpunk 2077 ได้บอกเล่าถึงปัญหาและอุปสรรคต่าง ๆ ในการพัฒนาเกมใน Forum ของ CD Projekt ซึ่งเขาได้เปิดใจว่า ทาง CD Projekt RED นั้นสร้างเกมนี้ออกมาด้วยจิตใจที่อยากจะสร้างเกมนี้ออกมาจริง ๆ ไม่มีการบังคับขืนใจใครว่าต้องชอบเกมนี้ และจะเป็นเกมที่แฟน ๆ พอใจอย่างแน่นอน
