The focus of these classes is upon traditional weight training exercises, as well as utilizing the most up-to-date functional training equipment.
Cross-Training consists of constantly varied, high intensity, functional movements. We use a number of fitness elements to improve all aspects of your health and fitness to get in the best shape of your life. No prior experience needed. Your strength, stamina, speed, balance, coordination and flexibility will all improve substantially through consistent application of the principles within our Cross-Training program.
These classes are perfect for anyone looking to improve their overall health and performance, through a structured overall plan that has participants working the functional movement patterns across the duration of the week.
Each class is an hour long and includes the warm-up, skill progression, focus of the day, and a cool down.

Teacher Bio: Dannie
Dannie started her career in the corporate world and then transitioned into international primary school teaching, but after 4 degrees and many years in these industries, she was left feeling burnt out. It was during this time that Dannie discovered yoga as a way to balance work and life. Having experienced the life changing benefits of yoga through her own practice, she now dedicates her time fully to teaching yoga. In her classes, she aspires to help her students grow deeper connections to themselves for a more mindful and purposeful practice on and off the mat.
Dannie is a 200hr YA Registered Yoga Teacher with certifications in Wheel (30hr), Yin Yoga, Chinese Medicine and Functional Anatomy Training (100hr). She has also completed certifications in Ashtanga Immersion and Adjustments and Alignment.

1⃣️ Q:妳喜歡做哪些運動?
A:任何讓我能感到活著的運動我都愛(戶外運動+極限運動)😈 我最愛衝浪,但也享受在海邊和屋頂上做瑜珈和徒手訓練。喜歡自由潛水,滑板,爬山跑步⋯ 而很少人知道,我其實愛聽hiphop和house跳舞,還有練武術~但實在「太久」沒練了🙈
2⃣️ Q:妳一個禮拜運動幾次?
A:我一週七天都要動,至少每天一次(45-90分鐘)可以的話要動兩次!做什麼都好,看身體和環境情形就決定要做什麼🏄🏽♀️🤸🏽♀️🧘🏽♀️🏋🏻♀️
3⃣️ Q:妳運動的目標為何?
A:保持健康!建立意志力!訓練肌肉功能與腦袋的連結!培養活力!還有 非常重要:讓自己身心靈平衡,放鬆,快樂☀️

1⃣️ Q:What kind of exercise do you like?
A:Anything that is outdoors and makes me feel alive!
Surfing, running, working out/practicing yoga on the beach or on my rooftop, with whatever equipment is around. Free-diving & skating...! And most people don’t know, but I really love to dance to house and hip hop music! 🙊 I also kinda miss practicing martial arts , it’s been a while!
2⃣️ Q:How often do you exercise? Routine?
A:Every day, 7 days a week. I only skip exercise when I’m sick, overworking or recovering from an injury 😂 No routine, I do whatever I can and my body feels like.
3⃣️ Q:What’s your goal?
A: A healthy & functional body, strong mind, willpower & overall vitality! But I also move a lot to relax, to balance myself, and simply for fun & delight!

What is functional training? It is a form of training that works your whole body as one unit through compound exercises to build strength and muscle in a functional and balanced way. Including functional training into your routine is extremely important to improve your ability to perform the everyday activities, and to make daily motion easier and safer.
Here’s a 30-minute workout circuit to improve your strength, balance, coordination and also stamina! We'll be engaging our CORE throughout the entire workout as that's the foundation to a strong body. No equipment needed, just your own bodyweight. It's also LOW IMPACT, hence no jumping. Let's have some fun with the moves!
