「醫師,甚麼是好孕體質?」
從中醫角度來看,好孕體質就是平和體質:體內陰陽調和、氣血旺盛、月經正常、精力充沛及心理質素良好。不過因為先天和飲食、生活習慣影響,平和體質實屬少見,不過我們可以留意身體症狀,配合飲食和生活細節,令體質趨至平衡,增加懷孕機會,男女雙方都適用啊!
面青唇白型
症狀:面色偏白、手腳冰冷、怕冷、月經量少色淡、吃了生冷食物後易出現痛經等。
改善方法:少吃生冷,適量進食人參、黨參、紅棗、北芪、桂圓等能溫補氣血的食物。注意保暖,避免穿露臍裝、短褲。忌做劇烈運動,建議慢跑或健步至微微出汗即可。
✔推介米水:紅豆米水
疲累多汗型
症狀:多汗、痰多、胸悶、容易疲倦、食少腹脹、大便稀爛不成形、白帶量多、月經週期延遲等。
改善方法:少吃生冷、甜膩食物,適量進食薏米、淮山、白扁豆、赤小豆、茯苓等健脾祛濕食物,每天飲用米水。多做運動出汗排走濕氣。
✔推介茶療:濕重、水腫腫
嚴重怕冷型
症狀:口淡、面色偏白、浮腫、嚴重怕冷、嗜睡、凌晨時分容易腹瀉、小便量多、大便稀爛、月經量少色黯淡質稀
改善方法:少吃生冷、適量進食南瓜、合桃、羊肉、黨參、薑等溫陽散寒食物。多曬太陽,適量進補,每天飲用米水,進行強度小的運動至微微出汗。

心煩氣躁型
症狀:多打嗝或放屁、經常嘆氣、情緒鬱悶、入睡困難、大便不調、經期前乳房脹痛、經量少色偏暗有血塊等。
改善方法:少吃辛辣、重口味食物,適量進食白蘿蔔、蓮藕、絲瓜、猴頭菇、陳皮等疏肝解鬱食物,適量飲用玫瑰花、茉莉花茶。避免熬夜,多做運動疏發肝氣,尋找適合自己的減壓方法。

熊貓眼型
症狀:容易有黑眼圈、暗瘡印、臉色唇色紫暗、肢體容易瘀、容易周身疼痛、月經多血塊及痛經等。
改善方法:少吃生冷、刺激性食物,適量進食黑木耳、黑豆、山楂、益母草、田七等活血化瘀的食物。適量飲用花茶疏肝理氣,多做伸展運動有助加強血液循環。

Getting the body ready for conception
“Doctor, what constitutes a good body for pregnancy?”
From Chinese medicine perspective, a body ready to conceive should be one with neutral constitution. This is where the yin and yang are balance, blood and the qi are rich in the body, menstruation cycle is normal, and the person is energetic and psychologically fit. However, due to congenital factors, diet, and lifestyle, having a body with neutral constitution is uncommon. In order to restore the balance in the body, both men and women should observe signals the body sends out, and adjust our diet and lifestyle accordingly. This will increase the chances of getting pregnant!
Type: pale complexion
Symptoms: pale face, cold hands and feet, aversion to cold, menstrual fluid is low in volume and light in color; develops menstrual pain after eating raw and cold food.
Tips to improve: consume less raw and cold food, appropriately consume ginseng, Codonopsis root, red date, Astragalus root and dried longan, as they can warm and replenish the qi and the blood. Be sure to keep warm, avoid wearing shorts and clothes that will expose the belly button. A slow jog or walk to sweat out a little can also help improve the condition.
✔Rice Water Recommendation: Red Bean Rice Water
Type: fatigue and heavy sweating
Symptoms: heavy sweating, produces excessive phlegm, fatigue, poor appetite and stomach bloating, mushy stools, excessive vaginal discharge, and delay in menstrual cycle.
Tips to improve: avoid foods that are raw, cold, sweet and filling. Consume an appropriate amount of barley, Chinese yam, white hyacinth bean, rice bean and poria that can help strengthen the spleen and eliminate dampness; drink rice water every day; exercise more and sweat it out to get rid of dampness from the body.
✔Beauty Tea Recommendation: Edema & Dampness
Type: aversion to cold
Symptoms: tastelessness, pale face, edema, afraid of cold, lethargy, prone to nocturnal diarrhea, excessive urination volume, mushy stools, menstrual fluid low in volume and dull in color.
Tips to improve: consume less raw and cold food; appropriately consume pumpkin, walnut, mutton, Codonopsis root and ginger that can warm the yang and eliminate cold. Enjoy moderate sun exposure, nourish the body appropriately, drink rice water every day; carry out short but moderately vigorous exercise to sweat it out.
✔Beauty Tea Recommendation: Blushing
Type: ill-tempered
Symptoms: burping and farting, sighing, feeling depressed, insomnia, obstructed defecation, swelling of the breasts before menstruation, menstrual fluid low in volume, in dark color and has blood clots
Tips to improve: reduce the consumption of spicy and heavy food; appropriately consume ingredients that can soothe the liver, such as white radish, lotus root, luffa, monkey head mushroom and dried orange peel; drink rose tea and jasmine tea. Avoid staying up late, exercise regularly to promote the circulation of qi in the liver, and identify the stress-relieving methods that might suit you best.
✔Beauty Tea Recommendation: Stress
Type: the ‘panda eyes’
Symptoms: gets dark eye circles easily, acne scars, dull purplish facial complexion and lips, easy bruising, body ache, blood clots in menstrual discharge, and menstrual pain.
Tips to improve: avoid eating raw and cold food, as well as food that contains stimulating substances; appropriately consume black fungus, black bean, Chinese Hawthorn, motherwort (‘yi mu cao’) and Panax Notoginseng (‘tian qi’), as they can invigorate the blood and clear stasis; drink floral herbal tea to soothe the liver and the qi; do more stretching exercises to improve blood circulation.

Sudah tentu ramai rakan-rakan yang masih rasa tak selamat dan rela duduk rumah time pandemik ni. Banyak faktor, antaranya kesihatan diri sendiri, lagi-lagi tidak ingin membawa risiko kepada ahli keluarga terutamanya yang ada isu kesihatan.
Berjanji dengan bini tersayang supaya kurangkan masa di luar, hanya untuk urusan penting sahaja. Kalo tak, mati I kena bebel. (Yes I tahu bebel sebab sayang. Lap you wife). Masalahnya makin banyak time di rumah, makin banyak time habis main phone. Selalu marah anak-anak mata melekat kat Ipad, phone, rupanya sendiri sama juga, lagi teruk kadang-kadang. Tapi, sekarang kan dunia IT, larang anak-anak main gadget mmg tak logic. Cikgu-cikgu sekolah pun dah start ajar pakai gadget. Memang challenging nak ejas kasi balance. (Bukan mcm bapa dia, first time main computer kat cybercafé. CounterStrike punya pasal)
I rasa ramai yg sama dilemma mcm saya. Mau anak pandai IT, tapi geram tengok dia layan gadget lama-lama. Seronok tengok derang main lumpur main bola, tapi risau pulak ada Covid. I believe these are common headaches faced by modern parents now. Having said that, I believe we still need to expose them to gadgets. Just limit their screen time to say an hour max a day. Otherwise, our children could be left behind in this IT-charged world. (It’s a shame their dad’s first exposure to IT was when he was seventeen, playing CounterStrike in a cybercafé!)
Especially during the previous MCO period, gadget usage became more prominent. Education and leisure mostly took place in the form of gadgets. Like in my previous post, even Taekwondo was taught via online.

Nothing beats the joy of seeing the Twins happily going to School .
Adam & Noah have no problems adapting to their new environment with new friends .
The key is lots of exposure needed .
Many kids are afraid of new environment and new people . They always cling to their Mommies . It’s important as parents to expose them to new surroundings to build up their confidence .
Sending them to a PlaySchool from as early as 3 years old does help . Not to a nursery but a proper PlaySchool where the kids play , learn & interact with teachers and peers .

Have to say from the looks of it the lens is quite sharp but wish it was a continues f4 but have to say when you expose it correct the exposure changes not too extreme. Also tried out the under cranking setting at the end and slowed the footage down to get some light streaks when cars passed by but have to say the exposure is not slow enough, but have to say anything slower be better of doing time lapse for the long exposure plus able to get 5k footage instead of 1080p but have to say its ofcourse less of an hassle this way importing the footage.
