【中國文攻武嚇不曾中斷 台灣有自我防衛決心與實力】

外交部吳部長日前接受CNN專訪，說明台灣如何回應中國持續升溫的軍事活動及假訊息威脅、兩岸關係現況等議題，重點在這：

🔸針對中國假訊息攻擊與認知戰：

#台灣已累積相關經驗

台灣位處 #抵抗中國威權主義擴張的最前線，面對中國持續的文攻武嚇，如共機擾台及進行認知作戰等，除了以 #開放透明 與 #國際合作 等方式捍衛台灣的自由民主體制，也爭取歐美及理念相近國家的支持，持續推動國防自主及強化防衛能力，來有效嚇阻中國可能採取的行動。

🔸針對中國持續軍事威脅與挑釁：

#台灣已做好準備

多達28架共機近期闖入台灣西南防空識別區，對此吳部長表示我們不能冒任何險，必須做好準備。既然中國不會放棄侵略台灣，而且也持續在台灣周邊進行軍事演習，#台灣有自我防衛決心與實力，會與理念相近國家共同維護民主自由價值，以及印太區域的和平與穩定。

🔸針對兩岸現狀：

#台灣已成為區域及全球關注焦點

吳部長強調，#中共政權從未統治過台灣，但近年中國企圖突破第一島鏈，將影響力擴大至周圍海域引發多國不安。因此，近期多場全球主要國家的元首峰會及部長會議中，都特別對台海的和平穩定表達關切。

台灣向來秉持不挑釁、不激化的原則審慎處理兩岸關係，並主張「和平、對等、民主、對話」的立場、堅守「維持台海和平穩定現狀」的國際共識，努力避免現狀遭中國片面破壞，而台灣也將持續積極貢獻國際社會並捍衛自由民主政體。

MOFA Minister Joseph Wu discussed Taiwan’s capabilities in dealing with the threats posed by #cyberattacks, #CognitiveWarfare, #disinformation campaigns and military intimidation originating in China, in an interview with CNN’s Will Ripley.

Minister Wu expressed concerns at China’s attempts to expand beyond the first island chain and the threat this poses not just to the peace and stability of the region, but also to the larger global community.

Minister Wu's statement that the Chinese government "cannot tolerate truth," couldn’t be more timely, as Apple Daily shuts its doors in #HongKong for the final time.
