The River of Power in You
He showed me a river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb,” (Revelation 22:1 WEB)
The Holy Spirit that indwells us is depicted as a river of living water. Be conscious of this powerful source of life that flows outwards from your spirit.
“It shall happen, that every living creature which swarms, in every place where the rivers come, shall live; and there shall be a very great multitude of fish; for these waters have come there, and the waters of the sea shall be healed, and everything shall live wherever the river comes.” (Ezekiel 47:9 WEB)
Whatever the Holy Spirit touches comes to life. What we need is for this life-giving power to emanate from our spirit to affect our body.
Take a moment to be conscious of this mighty river flowing within you and confess this with me, “Holy Spirit, you are the true river of the water of life. I receive your life-giving touch to restore, strengthen and renew my body, soul and spirit right now. In Jesus’ name I ask, Amen.”
““Don’t remember the former things, and don’t consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing. It springs out now. Don’t you know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert. The animals of the field shall honor me, the jackals and the ostriches; because I give water in the wilderness and rivers in the desert, to give drink to my people, my chosen, the people which I formed for myself, that they might declare my praise.” (Isaiah 43:18-21 WEB)
Is there a desert area in your life? Direct this river to it and watch as the dry wilderness turns into flowing rivers. After it touches your soul and body, it even flows to those around you, giving life to others as well. Praise Jesus!
