The Central Epidemic Command Center on Monday said it plans to test 5,000 randomly selected blood donation samples in Taiwan, collected from April to July, for #COVID19 antibodies so as to develop a clearer picture as to the prevalence of the coronavirus disease during its peak in the country.

💖In true friendships, both sides benefit💪🏻🩸. The AIT community continues to be grateful to Taiwan for its assistance to the United States during the early stages of COVID-19 outbreak. Similarly, Taiwan has been outspoken in its thanks to the United States for the donation of vaccines.
Our community wanted to continue this spirit of giving by hosting a blood drive. Did you know that blood banks around the world are experiencing shortages as a consequence of the COVID-19 pandemic? The AIT community lined up (in a responsible, socially distanced way, of course!) and donated 108 units of blood. Thank you, Taiwan!

Head over to the Blood Donation Center (Pusat Derma Darah) in Hospital Tuanku Ja'afar Seremban (HTJS) to do your part to help your community.
