Every Mother knows of the struggles of Motherhood. It’s a constant balancing act trying to fulfil all the roles a Mother plays for her baby, her family and herself. Throw in an active 2.5 years old toddler into that equation and that balancing act becomes a near impossible task 🤯 We all know that Moms, as amazing and incredible as they are, are still human. Like most first-time Moms, the very first time I breastfed Lilia, I was quite clueless. Friends had told me it would be hard and required a lot of practice and patience, but I had no idea how painful it would be 😭 Breastfeeding and pumping is honestly one of the most difficult journeys I’ve embarked upon. I wish I could be one of those Mothers that could say they truly enjoyed it, but if I’m honest, when I was pregnant the second time with Elia, I was secretly dreading having to breastfeed/pump again 🙈

As a second time Mom, I knew that to help me persevere, I would need the best tools to assist me. I have made no secret that out of everything I have experienced so far throughout Motherhood, breastfeeding and pumping remains one of the most difficult things that I have had to do thus far. The pain, the fear of mastitis, the discomfort of engorgement, worrying about not producing enough to feed my baby... and the list goes on. But despite all these obstacles, as a Mother I still want to try my best to provide for my children, so I persevered.

With both my daughters I relied heavily on pumping to provide them with breastmilk. Pumping meant that I could feed my daughters breastmilk and all the goodness that comes with it, whilst also allowing myself to get back to a somewhat normal routine and plan my day around my pumping schedule. It also means Daddy can step in to help with feeding when Mommy really needs to rest 😅 The breast pump is one of my most used items, which is precisely why investing in a good one is so important (用過你就知道品質高嘅重要性). When it comes to baby products, there are so many choices out there it can be overwhelming. However, as a second time Mommy, I learnt from the past and knew that all I need is 一個效率同舒適度一樣咁高嘅奶泵!
