ในนามของสมาพันธ์ Global Powerlifting Alliance (GPA) และ Asia Powerlifting Alliance (APA) เรามีความยินดีอย่างยิ่งกับประเทศไทยที่จะประกาศอย่างเป็นทางการถึงสมาพันธ์ ‘GPA Thailand’ ซึ่งเป็นสมาพันธ์ของประเทศไทยที่เป็นสมาชิกอย่างสมบูรณ์ของ Global Powerlifting Alliance ซึ่งดำเนินการโดย Hero Athletes
‘GPA Thailand’ ได้เป็นสมาพันธ์เดียวในประเทศไทยซึ่งได้รับการให้อนุญาติ, ได้รับการดูแล และได้รับการรับรองมาตรฐานจากทาง GPA และ APA
ในการที่นักกีฬา Powerlifting จะมีสิทธิ์เข้าแข่งขันในระดับนานาชาติของสมาพันธ์ GPA และ APA ซึ่งเป็นงานแข่งขันในระดับโลกและงานแข่งขันที่ใหญ่ที่สุดในระดับภูมิภาคเอเชียนั้น นักกีฬามีความจำเป็นที่จะต้องผ่านงานแข่งขันจากสมาพันธ์ ‘GPA Thailand’ เท่านั้น มิใช่จากสมาพันธ์อื่น
เรามีความยินดีที่จะแจ้งว่างานแข่งขันครั้งแรกของ ‘GPA Thailand’ นั้น กำลังจะเกิดขึ้นในช่วงกลางปี 2019 นักกีฬาที่มีความสนใจต้องการแข่งขันสามารถเริ่มเตรียมตัวได้ทันที และนักกีฬาจะมีสิทธิ์ได้รับคัดตัวเป็นนักกีฬาในนามทีมชาติไทยไปแข่งขันในงาน Asian Powerlifting Alliances ปี 2019 ในข่วงปลายปีด้วย

On the Behalf of Global Powerlifting Alliance (GPA) and Asia Powerlifting Alliance (APA). We would like to officially announces the federation for Thailand that is a member in good standing of GPA under the name of ‘GPA Thailand’ which operates and powered by Hero Athletes.
‘GPA Thailand’ will be the only Powerlifting competition in Thailand that is standardized, monitored and approved by GPA and APA.
To be recognized by the GPA and qualified to compete in GPA World Championship and APA Championship, lifters MUST participate in one of the event organized by ‘GPA Thailand’ only.
A Big Thank You To John-Hans Oei and Koay Qunling Co-Founder of MPA And APA for making this happen.
We looking into our first ‘GPA Thailand’ powerlifting competition around Mid 2019 that we will able to house and host the competitions and welcoming the lifters from around the world.
