We opened Akita Inaka School on August 5th, 2019 with 24 students from all around the world gathered in a small countryside town in Japan to study Japanese and learn about the Japanese culture and lifestyle for a month.

We spent a good and very eventful 2 weeks in Japan. I'd say the highlight would definitely be completing a 42km marathon, and also visiting Aomori Prefecture where we were blessed to experience a white winter wonderland all over again.
Japan is a very special place to us, and we're so thankful for all the opportunities that have taken us back.
